Our G league team is going to be boring as heck. I assume Keels will be back with Westchester also. No real prospects this year just a bunch of never will be’s
Not sure when our Gleague was all that interesting but Jaylen Martin might be worth keeping an eye on.
Keels too is interesting. Can’t say he is trending properly but the kid has a good stroke.

I forgot about Jayden Martin. I didn’t watch any SL this year.
IDK what Mike Miller is up to, but I wouldnt mind him being brought back to run the G-league team. Did a great job with prospects. Feels like the well has run dry lately

Yeah, but I blame that more on the FO. What can you realistically expect when your draft Trevor Keels and bring him in with a straight face? The G-League hasn't really been a priority.

Thats true, only so much the staff can do with some prospects. I remember better prepared prospects as a whole, when Miller was around.
The FO now has position battles on both he nba and g league team. Deuce is being squeezed out from the nba roster and now facing competition at the g league level.
Definitely have enough assets to make a move or sit back and see who pops.
Our g league team has players who could be on the main roster. Seems like we are preparing to send someone lots of guards and picks in a blockbuster trade. Then the FO can move some of these g leaguers to the end of the bench.

Honestly, I don't think Deuce has anything to worry about from the G-League. He's been dominant everytime he's gone down. He does have a hurdles on the main roster though and it doesn't appear those will be sorted out anytime soon.

We had few picks so we had roster spots that we filled with Gleague players. Who stuck?
What team can you point to a team that has a successful feeder system?
With more rookies and younger players on the roster there has been a lessor need to pull players up.
Miller did a good job when the team sucked. Good teams don't need that.
The well is dry. Thats not a bad thing. We have plenty of water.

Good teams need coaches who get the most out of their players. That never changes. They seemed to know their roles better, which you want in a role player. In the end, not many g league players stick. Only so many spots to fill.
Mike Miller enjoying being an assistant coach with the Wizards
