Wasn't Thibs standing right there at the bench when that happened? He was JVG's assistant at the time, so was supposed to be there, no? Did not see him on the video, but pretty sure he was not punching anyone anywhere.

Thibs was on the sidelines rolling up his sleeves ready to punch a dude where it counts but was interrupted and left rolling around on the ground in laughter at the JVG spectacle just like the rest of us lol

RJ might have the green light to get buckets. But thats why I like the idea of IQ at the 2, to help keep the ball moving as another distributor on the court. I dont see RJ getting benched.
TBH, Im hoping that this tournament helps Brunson become a better distributor. We know he can get buckets.

Man I thought Brunson showed he is an elite distributor against Puerto Rico, it took one game to see what he can do with better players around him.
IQ should start. I mean if Mitchell can do it then I Q can with Brunson. That extra ball handler will help RJ and Mitch score more efficiently. Then the bench with DDV, HEart, Hart, and Grimes becomes more lethal. IQ plays refense defense well so it's worth a try. Team will be small but fast and hard to guard. Should be fun. Plus starting IQ may raise his trade value where if he is traded we can trade him for a bigger wing. Similar to how Haliburton got traded for Sabobis. No need to add picks to trade for a young combo guard to get a similar young wing.
