You mean they want to get "fleeced" in a "bad" trade?

Oh wait, it's the other way around. Nevermind.

My understanding - and please someone correct me if I am off - is that if you cut out the damaged meniscus, maybe that is a 4-6 week recovery depending on how bad the damaged area. If you try to repair the meniscus (ie. sew it back on so that you still have padding in your knee), recovery is more in the 2-4 month timeline?

Is that right? And of course if you are removing the damaged meniscus (the short timeline route), you are permanently taking away padding inside the knee which is very very very not good for a 7 foot behemoth.

Not sure of recovery time, but you are correct.

complete removal is usually not recommended because it would lead to other issues down the road. With Embiids knee issues, I hope he doesn't go that route.

I think it means someone in Chicago's FO needs to lay off the crack pipe.

Or pass that crack pipe to someone more deserving. There are options and willing option taking people

Whatever is good for the Knicks is good for the gander. I think that means beat Philly!!

Nets do not own their own pick this year. So this helps Houston too?

Definitely look into Dorian Finney-Smith.

martin @ 2/6/2024 10:21 AM
This does not bode well for the upcoming Philly cap space and entertaining free agents?

martin @ 2/6/2024 11:58 AM
Not wrong omg

That 2017 draft gets stranger in each passing year!
He went right before Frank. Remember we had KP who was about to enter his allstar season and his ACL injury!
But it was the year DM went 13th to Denver, then traded by the Denver Nuggets to the Utah Jazz for Tyler Lydon and Trey Lyles!!!
That year Bam goes 14th, Jarrett Allen 22nd, OG 23rd, Kuzma 27th, Derrick white 29th and Josh Hart 30th.
That was a year where it was "weak draft". Fultz, Lonzo, Then Tatum went 1-2-3. Then Josh Jackson, Fox, Issac, and the rest we know all too well.
I know Frank was a miss. There were a lot of them that year!
John Collins went 19t then Harry Giles at 20th! Tyler

Feels like I ask this question every week, but how is Cleveland this good? We think we've been good in calendar year 2024 but they have been better and they are getting players BACK from injury where we're having guys hit the shelf. No one's really talking about them as much as they should.

Strus isn't putting up crazy #s, but they truly lacked shooting last year and he adds just enough. Big upgrade for Osman/Okoro playing a lot of minutes in my view.

That said - while they beat the Bucks 2x and the Kings, they also beat the Wizards and Spurs like 5 times

I wanna know this too.

Is it the team or Donovan or both?

And by both I obviously mean that Donovan is taking things into his own hands and trying to 1-up Brunson game to game but also to rocket launch his own upcoming trade value to the eventual trade to the Knicks which he will force in the upcoming months. Upcoming
