Caruso can hit shots if left wide open. Giddy is barely playable in the playoffs, which won't be a problem with the Bulls.

Giddy became a not good fit to what evolved in OKC. THat does not mean at 21 he is done or should be typecast. He has shown to be an quality NBA player and COULD be a good fit going forward.
Caruso at 30 works for a win now team paired next to a top 5 player in the back court that is SGA. Caruso is Is what we hoped Frank would become. Issue for many fans is that Frank was taken 8th in the draft and Caruso was Undrafted. I don’t know if GIddy becomes a star, but not sure he really has to be for the trade to work. As written it might spell the end for Lonzo Ball but at least Bulls moving on. GIddy paired with Coby White, and GIddy at 6-8 plays off the ball. Thats young pairing with upside. Caruso is the better player now, but for bulls this is about an opportunity.

Monk took a deal that might be percieved as a bit under value. Four years for 78mm for a situation he likes. Found stabilty and a coach/staff that utilized him well in a winning scenario. Good for him! SAC was limited to what they could pay him.

SImilar situation to what we got with iHart. Hope its a similar ending.

Yeah I think he could have gotten paid more and could have scored well over 20ppg in a Detroit type situation, but he's a good fit in Sac and playing with his college teammate in Fox. They still have a nice young core and have a decent window here if they make the right move.

Looks like its not Borego but Atkinson with the Cav's gig. Coached and developed Allen and Lavert with Nyets and seen to have the track record to develop young players. He's been at Golden State a few years now polishing his skills further. Good hire on paper. See how it all unfolds. I think Mobley stagnation is what did in Bickerstaff. Atkinson obviously presented a path that impressed.
What does Donovan Mitchell do? Does Darious Garland want out if he stays?

Breen sees JVG leave, take a consulting gig with Boston now lead assistant for Lue in LA.
Doc, he leaves to take over Bucks.
JJ Reddick, off to LakerLand.

Mark Jax just never got back in the mix. Wonder if he turned down Assistant offers. Not like the man did not have skeletons in the closet. NBA seems you can get another chance if you eat a little crow and take a step back as an assistant. Darvin Ham gone back. Terry Stotts did (did not work with Griffin), and Jason Kidd after two Head Coaching jobs in BKN and Milwaukee sat as assistant in Lakerland before getting the Dallas Gig. Im sure there is something "Preacher" tax dodger Jax can quote in the Bible about "Humility" being a virtue?

I think it is pretty clear that he is blackballed for his views on gay people.

But not as a broadcaster on ESPN? I get he was not given more chances to interview or refused to back down, which is his choice but to have that was kept on by ESPN for years until last year. I don't think he was fired for cause from them. I'd think ESPN would stay clear of it.

Seems the root of this was comments he said as coach of Warriors. Granted, for most of us this locker room type talk is harmless and while its hurtful for employees its a fine line. He was not publicly lambasted as a media personality as it was sort of kept inside. There was that, and his paranoid banter where our Darren Erman taped him (not cool) but it was likely at FO request. I have read that about everyone who had to work with Jax in the Warriors FO could not stand him. There was that.
That his church, tax issues, and preaching one thing then cheating on his wife never seemed to hurt his ESPN role was baffling. Teams did now want to hire him, but public persona was not an issue? There just might be some things in his closet that has not been fully disclosed as this is not all logical.
We live in a strange world. Isiah Thomas did some fucked up things as a knick exec and his contract was extended? Go figure!

Trump can grab 'em by the pu$$y and get elected president - Al Franken does a dumb but zany photo op with hands over a servicewoman's chest and has to resign. I have no idea what the formula is.

Remember when we thought we could re-sign IQ for $20M per year? 🤣

I think Action Jackson is more Doc Rivers in coaching style than Jason Kidd. He is more rah rah and pontificate rather teaching and developing. I don't think he is getting another HC job until he gets an assistant job first.

Grimes for Tim - somehow I feel like this is a Knicks trade but its not.

Quickley gets 35mm per.

What a 10 mins for former Knicks
