Feeling optimistic about the Gmen.

From what I read, he really fucked up the Giants interview. He was given a package to review prior to the interview and did not prepare. Daboll called him out on it and Shedeur was not happy.

Skatt looks like a fan favorite. Love RBs that love contact.

I don't have a lot of empathy Shedeur...are we supposed to worry that an entitled brat didn't get drafted where he was supposedly projected? Guy was born with a silver spoon and has made boatloads of NIL money - and apparently he made those qualities obvious to every NFL team that spoke to him. He lacks arm talent and takes a lot of sacks....I saw the upside of Jeff Garcia and the downside of out of the league in 2 years. Was never someone I wanted to see in the first round. If he's also got character flaws/doesn't want it, than how do you make him an NFL QB?

Dion Sanders was a phenom who had that rare ability to exceed in two sports with a ton of Bravado.
I think Shedeur fall also has to be on his handlers who coached him thru interviews and prepped him.
While Giants are in need of a star and non are bigger than when its the QB its a big risk for the face of the franchise and Sanders perhaps is not a sure fire bonafide star given what scouts deem as deficiencies.
Was that Collusion on behalf of the owners as some are suspecting? If so, Why?
Is Deon seem as a problem dad who could undermine his coach and seek the job himself?
Was Deon not being on track to be an NFL head coach? Or at least on his mind? At some price, he drops enough and the risk is minimum.
Im not an NFL super fan and im taking a stab at all this.
Giants perhaps by ownership decree seem to shy away from the starphuch and all that comes with it. Glad they stayed away from Aaron Rogers who even outside his politics is a bit of an ass.

No doubt Eli Manning was not perfect but he rose big when the moment called for it twice and was a great face for the franchise. As as Phil Simms. IM not saying its a total blue print but seemed they wanted Daniel Jones to be that guy. He was, but not enough on the field.

For all the Giants misses, they still have enough success in there history to maintain great fan support. They have the Jets for contrast to see what a real dumpster fire looks like.

Giants should play in Manhattan and Jets should be back in Queens or on Long Island. Then things will be right!

And we might actually have a good pass rush this season. Gone the days when opposing QB's can sit in the pocket for days

But Deon and Jerry Jones are BFFs. So I would think the teams that Deon has connections with would’ve drafted his son. You also have to think. What coach is willing to draft a player when the dad said or hinted at coaching his son. Basically to replace the same guy that drafted shadeur. I think Deon did a little too much talking and cockiness hurt them. Going in round 5 will be a humbling experience and allow shadeur to grow with low expectations.

Jerry could have had both if he was patient.
