Steven Adams was a key piece in their plans. Clarke is still rehabbing and only real option is moving Jackson away from his DPOY PF position. Or Tolman. We have three Centers. Two with solid production and one who has shown potential. They have several PFs, which we need.
Is there potential for us to add an important piece by providing them one of our centers?
Always liked Kennard. A way to dump EF?

I have presumed that the FO has no need of dumping EF. Rather, they would prefer to keep him to have the ability to use his contract as a filler in a future trade for a superstar.
Kennard is a perimeter player, of which we have a glut. Which of their PFs can run the floor and reliably finish around the basket to replace what Obi gave us?
I don't see any natural fits with the Knicks for trades. They could fit iHart into their trade exception, but what could they give up? I'd rather keep iHart if the deal is for a couple of seconds rounders. Would Memphis give up a slightly protected first? They also have their MLE? I think they'd rather just bring in a stopgap. Maybe Laravia for Sims? I don't see Memphis making that deal...
Can't see trading Mitch or IHart. Jericho for a future #1?

I mean. Why do we think we have the extra big men available to make a deal? We have 4 total Centers and Power Forwards currently on the roster. If anything, we should be buyers, no?
Detroit would be the team in the best position to make a deal with Memphis.

I think Wiseman would be the only center Detroit would consider trading. If that's the case, I think Memphis would be better of bringing in someone like Dwight Howard. I'd gloat, but as you already pointed out, we're one bad leg injury away from being in a similar situation.
Grizzlies could just un-ban Enes Kanter.
