Yes - respect Matt opinion but I felt Doc/Doris were boring. Used to be a fan of Doris but way too much blowing smoke up best teams asses and Doc is tired to me —- NO HUMOR in the group— think it was mistake losing Van Grundy and not a fan of Jackson as an announcer.

Celtics need us to play bad, miss half of our free throws, and get calls like this to beat us. I continue to not worry about the Celtics.

I fully agree on Grimes but he also put us up 6 with corner 3 and goes to line and clanks FT - I think Celtics ran off 8 or 10 straight after that miss.

Mitch is getting the ball 15 ft out, for the most part. No alley oops, no PNRs. No real attempt to get Mitch the ball where he likes it..above the rim.

IQ looked elite. Barrett played well but really thought he could climb Mt. Porzingis. Love the attitude but question the judgment.

My point is he has no skill if all he can do is throw down uncontested alley oops or open put back dunks. He missed 3 of 4 from under the basket and his only 2 from FT line.

Porzingis impacted open space around the rim - limiting some of the lobs Mitch normally gets but it’s an ongoing issue that Mitch has no skill. Plus Mitch takes himself out with dumb fouls - he may have got 4-5 more shots if his butt wasn’t on the bench in foul trouble

There’s a zero percent chance refs will exist in the future. Hopefully replaced by AI while we’re still alive.

Watching the 2nd 1 live I thought Brunson lost his dribble on his own but saw the replay on broadcast

KP getting better calls with Celts at MSG than he did when he was a Knock. Only one game, but it's a bit concerning how off this group looked. This is a veteran group. I'd expect us to look a little sharper.

I’ve thought this all the way thru preseason.

But then gotta admit, guys playing FIVB (while doing all the wedding things) and maybe Randle just not yet there, could be good reason for slow build up.

It’s not the usual Thibs team sharpness
