Not a good night, but Knicks not quitting
Randle playing for Chick Fil A
Jules not looking for the inbound pass. Not good
Randle has to go. Bad free throw shooter and turnover machine.

I been on that train even during his All NBA season. The way he plays is just not conducive to long term sucess in the playoffs. We have to learn to sell him when he is at a high. It might be too late now because everyone now see's how bad he is when you need him most. Don't worry he will have some good games against bad teams and all will be forgotten.
This is exactly why I don't care about the regular season as much. People see us blowing out teams and forget those teams suck. They won't be there in the playoffs where we always seem to struggle. Quick has had a 1 - 10 shooting game vs the Celtics and now a 4 - 14 here. People like to say he is going to get a huge bag when he shows out vs the bad teams but I am still seeing him struggle vs elite teams with good defense. Hopefully he breaks through but I am not seeing it yet.
Donte knows this is an issue of ours. We pass up open shots to end up taking heavily contested shots.

16 assists. If we're going to play small we need to 1), pass the ball better and 2, play at a higher tempo. Not to upset with this loss, but Thibs needs to iron out some stuff.

It's his ankle.

- just when you think you are out we will play the Hornets/Pistons and he'll pull you back in.

Moving him is the issue. You have to get back real value. And those deals aren’t there. He draws doubles and takes pressure away from the rest of the team. Barrett gets open looks and Brunson can go one on one without a double coming fast. Moving Randle gives a defense so many more options. It’s not just as simple as moving Randle.
That was an abomination -- sloppy, sloppy, sloppy - shooting just a dud --- complete iso game.
Randle taking plays off again -- now shooting 38% FG, 28% 3FG, 67% FT
Say that again 38/28/67 ---- 38/28/67 ---- all because of the damn ankle.

We had 4 rotation players go 0-6, 1-6, 1-6 and 1-7 from 3 --- I wish more of them were hesitating BUT I get your point.

Understood but doesn't help with the frustration of watching his not so great moments of futility.
KAT is highly skilled and was efficient tonight but man he just screams softie to me.
KAT looks like a 2 trick pony - either the quick 3-point set shot or the put head down driving to the right with the long strides and size 19 feet.
As much as Julius upsets my stomach --- I'm sure I'd regret KAT in 2-3 games.
Randle seemed to be lolly gagging it from the tip. He can't double?off the pick and roll and then not hustle it back to the paint. Outside of watching Mitchell take it in from the 3 point line for a dunk it was a very disappointing game. Josh gave up on shooting it from the 3 and then tried to get going with some wild shots off the dribble. Very disappointing for the Knicks.

Why wasn't Jessica Alba in the stands ????
random but didnt know Hart's deal had a team option, he's only guaranteed 3/58m. So with the opt in his deal is essentially 4/71m. Solid. this FO loves TO's...
No shame in losing on the road in Minnesota. That's a good team. It's as simple as making shots and 35% from the field and 9/38 from three isn't going to get it done on the road. Overall we went 3-2 on this road trip which you take 10/10 times.
