I beg to differ. This desire of the front office to hold all our assets to trade for a hypothetical star who may become available is ridiculous.. team missed opportunities to get players like KP or Jrue to improve the team. And make other smaller other deals to supplement the team and not just sit back comfortably cause " We have our nine guys that Thibs will play "

No the other team just has mobile, lengthy players who crashed the boards. Our usual big advantage was matched and beaten. What might happen in the playoffs when we face great teams with similar size and versatility.

Seems like it. 3 for 11 tonight.

This game should not have even been close with them down two super-friends.

I love Mitch, but iHart should not have come out in the 4th quarter.

The Boston losses ? Plus the close game against Miami minus Hiero. How do we look against good teams ??? Anyway we better win the next few games at home before our tough stretch in December

I thought the same thing. Thought he would be good for defending the Porzinghis of the league and be an X factor.

There were other players too that could have been gotten for nothing like Garuba just take a flier, no risk but instead we needed to get Ryan A, Windler, or Jeffries.

Free throws and rebounding cost us this game. The missed tech and Robinson's ineptitude at the line come to mind.

I don’t understand how some players just can’t put an arc on their shot.

Everyone knows it’s the biggest problem with his shot, including him… but he just keeps throwing it straight at the rim.

It makes zero sense to me.

Also, fire whoever is coaching him.

We cant keep putting out to start 3 scorers and having a shooting guard THAT CANT SHOOT!! Coaches creed "best 5 players start" simple concept.

Mitch also needs a lighter touch with his FT attempts. Puts the same zip on his free throws as you would an inbound pass. Needs to finesse his shot more.

I’m starting to think the best 2 of these 3 should determine mins (IQ, DDV, Grimes) And IQ / DDV both showed they can co-exist with the starting 5. Grimes seems to struggle and could refine his game with that second unit that’s actually fun and free flowing offense. There’s development and there’s winning games.

Grimes not hitting
Hart not shooting

DDV and IQ are splashing

RJ simply does not play well if Randle and JB goes off. Team is built around 3 volume shooters, so I’m not surprised RJ had an off night. They each take turns with that each game.

Can't keep expecting to win games falling behind by 15+ ann clawing your way back in. Eventually the odds are gonna even out and the other team is going to start stopping those runs.

KP would have been the perfect Randle replacement.I think the Mavs would have taken Texas All NBA Randle on a KP dump trade if we gave them a pick like the Celtics. Our front office does not realize how much of an anchor he is. People will see his 3rd an forget his first half and lazy/poor defense is the reason why we lost. Booker got hot targetting him in PNR.

Damn - you pul me into anti-Julius mode with stats like that.

What struck at 1st glance of box was Julius despite having arguably his best offensive stretch of the season was still a -9 and of course the last 3-point dagger was right in his face.

IMO - we lost this game on the glass, on loose balls and just bad defensive decisions (ex J Hart running at Nurkic on 3 point line and leaving N Little wide open - make Nurkic beat you)

Once again we get I think 3 points out of our starting SG and of course the corpse of E Gorman left open and driving by guys 10 years younger goes for 25).

Brunson brilliant, IQ continues to pass up open 3’s, Mitch outplayed for maybe the 3rd or 4th straight game.

He should have been tested more at the onset of the season. He was recovering from ankle surgery. Not Randle's fault they didn't have a back up to take his place.

To hell with excuses just the facts. LOL

They runnng the same offense that we ran on the heat rookie. Just put Randle in any action and he is so lazy you will get an open shot.

In Julius’s mind he’s literally too important to defend except for maybe 3-4 possessions a night and meanwhile little Brunson is scrapping all over the joint but for most part game lost on boards, loose balls and rotations.

He played very solid against Heat but in my view his stats have looked better than his movement —- I basically see the same sluggish movement, sketch handle with lots of fumbling the dribble and he just looks the same —— his stats are better but hope he doesn’t come a crashing down.

Thought we should have went Brunson, IQ, Hart, Randle, Hart down the stretch but Thibs went back to Mitch/RJ
