Mailed that one in tonight —- everyone kind of turds but Julius has got to start guarding someone, something, anything and the continued walking/jogging back in D.

Refs all over Clips nutsacks tonight — any hint of contact was a foul.

Sims kind of a no show so far — no instincts as a shot blocker or on the pick roll — everything processes a split second late. He is fine straight up or in switches but when put in quick actions he is late and if he is expecting any help from Julius as the other big - that ain’t happening.

Didn’t see final - stopped watching at 144 —- 144.

Have to say all of the Clips big 3 looked in fine shape - moving and playing well. Strong supporting cast - will come down to if Harden/PG3 implode in key playoff spot.

Read comment on another board “feels like we play a whole team of Steph Curry’s when we defend”.

I have to agree - even last night teams feel like they are making 7 or 8 of every 10 shots.

Clipper broadcast - they said in talking to Knick staff they are very disappointed in team defensive efforts this year.

For me - you can feel it right out of the gate when our D is there or not - it’s a fake energy/effort when it’s not there. Guys appear they are working but everyone thinking about buckets not stops.

I'm still bathing in the afterglow of last night so I'm not as upset. But I knew the Clips wanted revenge. Knicks just need to stay above water during this stretch.

No Grimes and Mitch as starters and you get this trash defense. Brunson, RJ and Randle don't work. Too many minus defenders in the starting group. RJ has been better than last year but not good enough to make that group work. All the stats in the world can't make up Randles defense. Brunson is bad too but he is our best player so he gets a pass. I understand some of yall love Randle but the fit is just not there.

All they needed to do was separate Russ from Harden in the starting lineup to make it work. They are pretty solid now.
