Knicks · Sorta OT: Julius Randle or Miles Bridges? (page 1)

Another con for Miles: He's not as effective in the half court. All the other stuff aside, the roster would need an overhaul. I think it's a nonstarter. If we where basing this on talent, I'd bring Miles to be a super sub. But hard no when taking everything into consideration.

I would have moved RJ for Bridges and played Bridges on the wing next to Randle but we have OG now. I like Bridges but he makes us to small without Randle.

You lost me at Miles Bridges but super lost me with the "dick measuring" jibe. Not valid and a cheap shot. Him and Brunson seem better than fine. I won't bother with the other fabrications and overstatements.

Trade Randle!

Randle is a superstar and at some point I hope we stop second guessing him here.

Miles beat up his wife and Julius didn't. So Julius.

Disagree with your first con,
1. Randle USELESS if offense is not there?
Rebounding is not useless. Averages close to 10 every year..
Forcing teams to double him is not useless. Creates opportunities for others.
You mention Miles is a more "willing passer?
Randle has averaged 5 assists twice in career. Is currently averaging 4.7. Averaged 6 in 2020. Almost double of Miles high for the year which was 3.8?

However, regardless of what one thinks about Randle, Miles is a no for one reason...
Which you mentioned as first 2 cons.
1. DRAMA
2. DRAMA

And I would not call it just "Drama". Domestic abuse is something that should get you kicked out of the league.

He will be a PR headache for any team that gives him a second chance.

Ah, that explains the one wifebeater vote.
