The thing I am thinking about with Miami was how they always cut to the basket whenever there was a double team. They stole a number of easy baskets doing this, but I wasn’t really seeing the Knicks doing that much. They would revert to a triangle and put a player (Grimes, for instance) at the top of the key to break the trap. I know there are better basketball minds than me here on the Xs and Os, what is it about the Miami offense that is different than ours that frees up those cuts? Just the foresight to do it?
Knicks won't be pulling off a Miami if they end up in the 2 or 3 seed!
