Podiemski looks like the kid in rec league that you dont expect to be good.
VDesai @ 2/29/2024 9:43 PM
Why is Sims still in
MS @ 2/29/2024 9:44 PM
Wtf did we make this trade. Bogey stinks and can’t guard anyone.
VDesai @ 2/29/2024 9:44 PM
Knicks offensive possessions are a joke
NYStateOfMind @ 2/29/2024 9:44 PM
Every and 1 goes in. Can't win games with so much stacked against the team.
VDesai @ 2/29/2024 9:46 PM
Why is Sims in at center over Precious ?
VDesai @ 2/29/2024 9:47 PM
McBride feeling it
VDesai @ 2/29/2024 9:48 PM
How do you leave Curry
MaTT4281 @ 2/29/2024 9:50 PM
Dagger right there.
VDesai @ 2/29/2024 9:51 PM
Knicks with their 2nd straight game shooting sub 40 - no one - not even the shittiest teams shoot sub 40 anymore in the NBA
GustavBahler @ 2/29/2024 9:54 PM
Burks and Bogs both shot 40 percent plus from 3 in Detroit. Stands to reason that once the starters get back, and they settle into their bench roles, that they will contribute more.

Makes no sense to complain about their performance this early, under these conditions. The best 2nd unit playmaker is Josh Hart.

NYStateOfMind @ 2/29/2024 9:57 PM
Are you not seeing this team is short-handed, beat-up, and exhausted? No legs makes shots fall short and missed lay-ups, it happened most of the game.

Sure but in the age of offense shooting 40 isnt a thing. Thibs needs to adjust the rotation to fit the Pistons guys better. Brunson keeps running into walls - put Bogs in there as a 2nd option. The offense is a bunch of guys foisting and missing 3s. Donte has cooled off so there is no 2nd option.

47 hard nosed mins - hustled every second. Shot like shit but 18 rebs, 7 assists, 2 stls.

NYStateOfMind @ 2/29/2024 10:06 PM
Cavs get to beat us up and score at will in the paint next game. Sims 0 blocks, he can't stop lay-ups 1 on 1. Kuminga clowned us all night, like he thought he was destroying our A-team. Tired of these punks acting the clown at MSG when they know we are big-time short-handed. Hard to watch and becoming the norm lately, especially when the refs don't give them a fighting chance. The NBA finally gets relevant basketball in NY and they allow this nonsense to continue. Call the games fair or what is the point in even playing the games? Sickening.
Clean @ 2/29/2024 10:09 PM

Went down big in the 1st and 3rd because of the lineup. Chances are we could win this game without that bad lineup.

Burks just played 11 min and Bogs 18 min, both with the bench. What game did you just watch? Neither one of them had any impact in their bench roles.

I agree, but Thibs isn't the right coach for half-time or any adjustments. He has no real schemes on offense. He has known for all of Feb we weren't having starters, gets some bench upgrades, but doesn't plan to run plays that suit this current teams, would rather continue to run Hart into the ground and hope he doesn't get hurt, too. The one guy who wasn't playing well post OG trade, finally gets on a roll and Thibs wants to ruin him with 47 of 48 mins. It is stubborn, offensive, and pathetic coaching. Giving Thibs more talent only hides his old school deficiencies. When the Knicks win, it is in spite of him. He only should get credit for the team defensive mindset and player stamina, the rest he is lacking. Poor last send shot selection or repeated 24 sec violations are a reflection of poor schemes. Thibs shouldn't be extended, but he will, when the team does better due to healthy returns.

I watched a game with no playmaker in the second unit to get them easy looks. Whats your theory as to why their numbers have dropped? They're both very good shooters careerwise Got to be a better explanation than they just suck.

Look at Bogs numbers before tonight. They were damned good. Patience!
