I think Brunson is questionable but I'd be surprised if he played. Hawks lost two in a row to Brooklyn so we can def take them.

If Shake Milton is available its a good opportunity to rest Brunson. However with Brunson out I would start Bojan at PF (over Precious) for more offense in the starting lineup. Deuce coming in at PG brings you some more defense. With Hartenstein on a mins run I think Precious will play a lot regardless. Okongwu is also out and they are starting Bey at the 4.

As much as the Hawks are depleted, this is a bad matchup for us in the sense that we have been awful at guarding the 3 pt line lately, and the Hawks still have a lot of shooting even without Trae.

Without Brunson I think the Knicks can play some lockdown D on a Trae-less Hawks team and they will get their offense going because Hawks play no D.

Think this Shake signing could be underrated- IMO he is a Thibs type point in that….

- he’s comfortable with the ball,in his hands
- he’s a downhill player who wants to get to the lane/basket
- he can put the ball in the basket with some creation ability - finishes both hands

Part of me hopes they give Jalen more time to rest and Shake is ready to bake

Let Brunson sit. We can lock these guys down and feed off MSG to pull out a W. We have some INCREDIBLY important games following this and need Brunson back ready for those. ORL - PHI - PHI on deck after this, massive seeding implications.

If I see Brunson on the floor, I'm going to be pissed. If med staff clears him, Thibs will play him 40 minutes.

I’m glad Okongwu is out. That dude is a menace and is going to hurt somebody. The kind of player I’d like better if he was on my team
