I must be on meth to be able to keep watching this game. Not only is it late, but my now deceased pet turtle gave me more excitement than this game. Imagine being a Portland fan and having to watch this over the course of a season

Is Ayton Bad Porn 2.0?

4. Corey "Bad Porn" Maggette

Depending on which side of the nickname you're on, this is either the best or the worst nickname of all-time.

The explanation for calling Magette "Bad Porn" makes so much sense that it's almost scary, but you have to feel bad for Magette who has to deal with drunken idiots shouting it at him.

Magette was an overpaid member of the Warriors when he was dubbed "Bad Porn" with the justification that there was a lot of penetration and scoring, but whoever was watching still wasn't happy with what they were seeing.

It’s a good thing

Not sure what it says about the roster that Thibs has to keep playing Brunson till the end with double digit leads.

Or what it says about Thibs. Josh Hart was half right when he joked that Thibs is "working through some past trauma". It borders on coaching scared.

All the Brunson’s

TBH wish we didn’t need 30 shots from Jalen to bet his Portland squad - much prefer more ball movement but a win is a win.

Going to be hard watching OG grabbing that elbow every play all the way thru the finals —— that is very worrying for me.

Another brutal (can’t even watch) Burks performance and what is Bogey doing with the absolute bricks.

The top of the key wide open 3 hit the backboard about a foot over the rim and to the left —- I mean this guy is one of the purest scorers and he looks like Chris Dudley on Knicks.

As a wise woman once said - PUT BURKS IN THE TRUNK!!!

DDV is really in a funk, he's just playing too many minutes. Wish we still had Grimes instead of Bogs. Grimes's size and defense and spacing allowed us to play him even if he wasn't scoring much.

Good win, handled business like we needed to do.

Brunson was amazing but his 3 ball has been off for awhile now it seems. Really need him to get that back on track.

The defense was phenomenal again, this team flies around like no other, it's fun to watch when they are all connected. They do the same on offense a lot too, lots of movement and passing and whipping the ball around.

Precious looking really good at backup 5 behind iHart. He struggled a bit earlier in the season at the 5 and came into his own playing the 4. He looks great in that role right now.

It was tough to watch OG last night. Thibs said the pain was an expected part of the recovery and that he is fine. That must be why they kept him in and there must not be much of a risk of reinjury, he just needs to deal with the pain. Tough spot for a basketball injury - shooting elbow. He took a top of the key 3 pointer and screamed in pain late in the game. He must have screamed in pain where you could hear it on TV 3-4 times. Again, tough to watch. But he continues to be a massive difference maker even when he's out there playing one-armed.

I agree with Monica that the refs seemed to have make a league wide adjustment mid season and they are letting teams play. Brunson needs to get used to it, he complains a lot about contact but they are calling it that way both ways and it's a net positive for us, as a physical defensive team.

Good win, onto the next. Need to find a way to win 1 of the next 2 because DEN is on fire and will be tough.

Deuce was awesome on defense last night, Thibs rarely leaves him out there with Brunson but at one point was playing 3 guards - Brunson - Deuce - DDV - Hart - Precious and the lineup was sharp. Burks is on his way out of the rotation, his sloppy nature on both ends doesn't fit what this team is doing now which crisp play on both ends. Bogs is on the clock. Give Shake some mins, he fits.

says same thing about every NBA roster... if you think 12-15 points is somehow a safe lead you not gonna coach in this league very long

Minutes police have chimed in Jalen's 38 were too many! Bad Thibs... no cookies today

whoo whooo whooo whooooo pullllll over!

It will be really interesting to see if the Knicks ultimately benefit if the refs call less. On one hand, they are a physical defensive team. On the other hand, their offensive players initiate contact a lot. Randle like Bruson drives into the defender's chest a lot. I suspect like Brunson he won't get the same calls and will get frustrated.
