Gonna be a dog fight to remain in 4th place. Looking at the games I'm seeing 8-8.
4th place isn't that important to me. We don't need HCA to beat ORL or even Cleveland again. And beating Cleveland gives us a better shot at ECF. I'm at peace with 4-5-6.
seeding isn't really important, and really who knows what the "best" seed will be anyway? Imagine staying at 4 and we get PHI with Embiid in the 1st round? PHI is 26-8 with Embidd this season, that would be like facing a #1 seed in the 1st round.
Or we could get MIA at full strength in the 1st round too.
if we drop to 6th we could get MIL in the 1st.
Just too many variables to really care about a certain seed right now.
Play to win, get guys healthy should be the priority and whatever happens happens.
I'd rather be a healthy 8 seed than a banged up 4 seed. I really hope we dont see a mad dash for the finish line. Team doesnt need to kill itself for a high seed.
OG is still hurting, Randle and Mitch arent back yet. Brunson has been carrying a heavy load. We've briefly seen what this team can do at full strength. I like our chances against any team in the East in a series, if we're healthy, or close.
I'm more concerned with Randle getting back in time to find his groove. Clock is ticking and haven't heard anything to suggest he's that close yet. Mitch seems like he could be back soon.
