On the bright side, we won't have to hear BigDaddy's negative commentary about our best player.

Can we get like a goon to break Jimmy Butler's leg?

I want a prime Rasheed Wallace malice in the place version for our squad. Hey, what’s Metta doing these days. We also could have resigned crazy eyes

Big info drop here.

This feels like the most Knicks news ever

This team had a chance to be the best team of my lifetime — oh well

Yeah things got silent about his progress at some point and now we know why. Was always a risk with this injury. Guy really tried to tough it out, but it just wasn't meant to be

Ugh

I thought he already went through surgery. oops

it was always a long shot that he would return this season. The earliest he could have returned was 3 mo after surgery...and thats with zero setbacks and he was a quick healer. Even then, he wouldn't have been at 100%

I am sure Randle did what he could to try and get back on the court. He always been in great shape and definately knows his way around the gym. I am sure OG is hurt and shouldn't be playing. The last time he played he didnt have the range of motion needed to shoot and 3 pointer. I also saw a picture of his elbow and it looked like he had a really bad case of arthritis. I could care less about how the Knicks report on injuries. I do think it is weird that a lot of fans assume a few of these guys work hard and a lot of them don't. I played basketball regularly and at a pretty competitive level into my 40s. It took a lot of work to get to the level I did in my 20s. NBA journey man Donte Jones once scored about 5 straight baskets on me like I wasn't even on the court. I think he could have scored 10 more. The amount of work it takes to become OG, Julius, or Jacob Toppin is extreme. When it comes to Basketball these guys are passionate and extremely self-motivated. I am not a big Julius Randle fan. I don't love the hero/villian narratives that I feel have broken any real discourse about the pluses and minuses of his game but I feel bad for him. Get heathy Julius

Reevaluated in five months! You know what, that is not even a lot of time to recover from rotator cuff surgery. Could take more. Too bad he didn't start the clock sooner.
