Brutal loss. Lost it early with the bad start
Basically 5 straight games we’ve gone down 15-20 points early
You know I'm talking about earlier in the game since I referenced Bogie and others. Regardless, OG is an elite defender, you don't double and leave a 3-point shooter wide open. You live with the 3s he hits on OG.

He banged multiple jumpers on OG before we started doubling

I think we had to get the ball out of DD’s hands there once he banged 3 or 4 in a row. I don’t disagree that Bogie guarding him got him hot though. But we didn’t exactly have a ton of options to throw at him. OG hasn’t played in months I’m sure he had a minutes limit tonight and Hart got ejected.
Javonte, Drummond, Dosunmu, and Scott with big games.
Destroyed in the paint and rebounds. 4th quarter missed FTs and horrible slow starts are a recipe for playoff failure. Josh can't score 31 every night and pull out a win like the King's game. I don't like what I'm seeing and this is the full team going forward.
And we play them 2 more times, plus the Celts, plus the Bucks, fun times to finish the season, NOT. Even the Nets aren't a gimmie playing like this.

We basically held their key guys in check and got destroyed by their scrubs. Prob what it feels like for opposing fans when Deuce drops 30 on them
Without Hart, the Knicks got hammered on the boards. That's where the game was lost. Drummond and Green killed them
Can we add Iowa or UConn for a game, we are shooting at their level, we might have a chance. And that game is a BRICKfest. Haha
Ebbs and flows, we had a 4-9 stretch while banged up and then went 8-2 with same banged up roster.
Orlando lost to CHA and MIL lost to Raps. It could be worse. And MIL game is very winnable the way they are playing. Just stay out of the play in that’s all that matters.
18 for 24 at the FT line, and I think 5 of those misses were in the 4th. Mitch needs to go in the off-season, he can't be relied upon late in the game. He is not the problem, but a problem.
Let's hope we can write this off as the back end of a back-to-back. Fingers crossed.
They'll need to find 2 wins to make sure we don't.

Just horrific and he looks like Jordan compared to Burks. Seriously thought Thibs might have attack when Burks pass entry pass right to Bulls right in front of Thibs - wow has Burks been soft.

I was yapping at the TV — “Thibs - why do you have Bogey guarding DeRozan?”
Bunch of other scrubs he could guard and Thibs decides Bogey is going to help DeRozan get going.

I remember 1 over OG - maybe there was another but DeRozan was completely under control with OG on him - Thibs took OG out and had Bogey guard him for about 4 or 5 easy buckets.
Mitch minutes basically useless — he’s good for tripping and falling down.
Drummond 16 boards off bench —- Mitch gets 16 boards and we’d have him 1st ballot hall of fame.
if we fall to 6th and play CLE that isn't the worst thing. does that mean we avoid BOS in 2nd round ?

DD was taking over late when OG was in the game. Whether on him or not is irrelevant really with screens etc but it was to the point where the ball needed to come out of his hands down the stretch.
DD def got going against Bogs but who do you put on him during OG’s bench mins?

It’s not a bad scenario at all. 2-3 in final 5 games and Knicks will be fine. Anywhere 4-5-6 is good.
