It’s not a bad scenario at all. 2-3 in final 5 games and Knicks will be fine. Anywhere 4-5-6 is good.
I prob wouldn’t have brought OG back on a aecond night of a travel B2B. Rotation looked a little dilapidated last night. CHI playing Drummond and Vuc and together also forced us into weird lineups. Not having Hart against DD when OG was out hurt us badly too.

yea not much of a difference between ORL, CLE and IND really. And if we can't get past those teams we were never going anywhere anyway.
So i'm not worried about seeding, this team even being within striking distance of #2 despite all the injuries is really amazing. Thibs deserves serious COTY consideration.

I honestly think teams are trying to avoid 2 and 3 right now with PHI and Miami lingering. MIL is playing like they’re tanking. CLE also looks like shit and Magic just got busted up by Charlotte. Winning 2 or 3 games is better than 4 or 5 for Knicks right now.

why do u think teams dont want to finish 2/3? to avoid MIA/PHI 1st round?
so 6th is probably better than 4/5 right?

Yes they would rather be in mix with CLE ORL NYK IND then play Philly who is like 30-8 with Embiid or Miami.
4-5-6 is pretty equal in my eyes. 4th probably best case scenario because it’s HCA and you avoid Miami and Philly. 6th gets risky if MIL keeps falling and lands 3 though. 4-5 is safely ORL or CLE IMO.
MIL just lost 3 in a row to Wizards, Grizzlies, and Raps who had lost like 13 straight. Can’t convince me they aren’t tanking rn.
S#!tty loss and we’re on a s#!t streak BUT I will take an available OG over beating the Bulls regular season. Next priority is getting him and Mitch in effective working order with the team. And no more injuries.
I think we need to discuss who should be the starting and/or potentially finishing shooting guard.
While Donte has had his moments his defense is pretty atrocious - he gambles far too much and loses his man all the time.
If we assume Brunson, Josh, OG and I-Hart are 4 of the starters I think Deuces solid D and shooting is best fit because our starts have been very poor as well lately.
Pretty sure Deuce will be closing so keep him starting as well and stagger his / Jalen pg minutes.
Deuce D will be particularly important vs Cleveland and Indy guards - Orlando maybe less so.
Deuce and OG and Josh to a lesser degree allow us to match up well against most teams.
Also Brunson been getting toasted early and often — ex. Kings kid with the early 3 three’s and Dosunmu going off early last night.
Brunson could use a full week off.
Last game on 4.14 — playoffs start 4.20 or possibly 4.21 for Knicks

DDV's ability to get off 3's from just about anywhere and do it quickly is huge for the starting 5.
Wouldn't move him... plenty of minutes for Miles regardless.
Not Bogey. Precious/McBride are 2 that come to mind, I agree get it out of DD's hands if he gets hot, but Bogey wasn't the answer and got him in the zone when mostly in check the 1st half, scored only 5 pts. If you are DD, don't you get pissed they have Bogey on him. Thibs lit the fuse which didn't need to be.

He banged multiple jumpers on OG before we started doubling
I remember 1 over OG - maybe there was another but DeRozan was completely under control with OG on him - Thibs took OG out and had Bogey guard him for about 4 or 5 easy buckets.
DD was taking over late when OG was in the game. Whether on him or not is irrelevant really with screens etc but it was to the point where the ball needed to come out of his hands down the stretch.
DD def got going against Bogs but who do you put on him during OG’s bench mins?
At this point, JB, Hart, OG, and iHart are a given. McBride often seems lost on offense when starting when JB is holding the ball too much. Devo seems to make more sense to start but needs coaching, stop chucking if you don't have it, and drive like Hart. Take higher % shots, stop leaving your man to double, and just raise your game IQ. Also, there is no established ball handler on the 2nd unit, so Devo on the second unit is tough. Then use Deuce, Precious, Mitch, & Bogey with some 9th man minutes. That might be their best option right now. Burks is toast or damaged goods. No one else, except maybe some minutes to Sims last night against the paint and board domination, really helps the winning cause. Let's go Knicks.

How is this even a foul?
I mean... I dont know. Maybe I'm biased.
I think just 1 more win might make sure no play-in scare. Looks like the Cavs will lose today, Sixers win. I hope we can hold onto 4 or 5, the Cavs slip to 4 or 5. Magic can have 3rd. 6th is fine if the Cavs hold 3rd. Just don't fall to the play-in and do their best regardless of the match-up. 2nd round won't be a given, but unless things click with the team OG January style, that might be the new ceiling.

CHI played Drummond and Vuc down the stretch which is why we went double big with Precious and iHart.

1 more win prob does it and 2 prob seals it. I think I heard if we are 2-4 in final 6 then Miami would have to run the table since we own tie breaker
And again we don’t really want 2nd or 3rd seed so winning 2 or 3 out of final 5 is perfect for us IMO.

Nope. Thought not. On the Bulls subreddit I can't find a single comment that agreed it was a good call. Some calling it terrible, and egregious.

Should have been a foul on that Bull fooker. He tried to gore Josh's ankles
