I especially love the plan. It's not JUST playing hard on defense. Obviously OG was great on defense, but he's got help. When OG wasnt hounding Giannis Josh was in unrelenting fashion. Neither of those guys were expected to just stop or slow him so we were letting him take certain lanes right into help or traffic where our centers were meeting him at the rim or our wings were ripping at the ball.
2nd half was a straight up coaching clinic and the Thibs crew totally showed out.
With OG/Mitch getting healthy team is looking nasty again
JHart makes such a difference on the floor. Does all the things everyone wants to do but sometimes too tired to do or not quick enough. JB another MVP game. OG's defense in the playoffs will be a game changer.

I know we were 1-4 in the prior 5 games...but last night is one of those "I'm a believer!" games.
Julius or no Julius - we're still primed for a special run this post season. There's not a single team out there that I don't think we have a chance against in a 7 game series.

I am with you. May not happen this year cause of bad circumstances but it’s all set up for next year.
iHart diving on floor for loose ball was the final clincher to me. But really, all the guys are locked in at a high level and doing playoff energy bonkers things. As a team too.

Probably not many but I am one who thinks that the ball should go through IHarts hands when JB is not doing his thing. Seems like good things always happen if he gets a touch. Thibs should be seeing it as he has many years with Noah doing so. .

You don't think he has? Seems iHarts game has evolved the last two years. Teams that are doubling Brunson..... With DDV hitting at +40% he makes them pay.... Or, iHart comes up the middle, and if fed, he can hit the short floater, if they cover him, he has many choices, hit a cutter, hit a player in the corner, etc....... but it starts with the double.
The offense is reacting to what the defense is doing. iHart is not Joker. He does not have those tools or range. What's different this year? DDV. His range also makes it harder to double on Brunson. Grimes was not sinking the shots.
If OG can get his rhythm down soon this team is going to look good again. January's 15-2 we saw this and add Randle whose life gotten much easier. yeah, I hope we can pay iHart also. Knicks can pay up to 16mm. Hope thats enough.

Knicks offense is night and day with I-Hart vs Mitch and without Julius having I-Harts superior scoring/passing gives our offense a multi faceted dimension.
Not knocking Mitch here as we need big time minutes from him as well.
