There is NO WAY on gods green earth I would choose Mitch over I-Hart. Pay I-Hart and do whatever is best with Mitchy.

Cam Thomas is kind of like a terminator scorer - you can keep fighting him but the dude is a walking bucket because he can get buckets in multiple scenarios and from wherever -- few guys I would least like to shoot a potential game winner vs Knicks than Thomas

The important ? - maybe unknown still is who will be 7 in the case we win and Bucks lose Sunday.

Someone on the board has been pushing for the Knicks to avoid 2 spot to avoid Philly and in this scenario if we stay in 3rd we get Philly.

Not sure it matters who we play - it's going to be a rugby scrum.

I was at the game and had a blast!

I was counting on Philly not running the table for their final 9 games of the season and eventually dropping one. They basically had to win every game to get top 6.

I would say might as well go and try to get second now. High likelihood we win and Bucks lose and grab 2nd and we do not have any control who we play with all the scenarios and potential 2 and 3 way ties going into final game. Basically worse setup occurred with the other teams last night for us and nothing at all got settled and basically got more unpredictable with one game left. Even the 3 way tie scenario with us and MIL and CLE is crazy.
DLeethal @ 4/13/2024 7:19 AM
2nd also brings you playin unpredictability so even if Philly lands there it might be Miami which isn’t easy but probably preferable.

Home court is always better.
Records indicate ALL opponents will be tough.

Philly is 33-8 with Embiid. It’s a different animal from ORL, PHI, CLE.

So proud of Mitch for hitting those FT's and even more proud of OG for sticking up for Brunson! BTW, where was Hart during that? Isn't he supposed to be his best friend?

I still can’t make heads or tails of who we would get if we are at 2 BUT wouldn’t home court advantage vs everyone but Celtics be appealing despite any round 1 match-up.

I do think with I-Hart/Mitch/Sims we have bodies to throw at Embid and OG will see time on Maxey but I don’t like Philly with Lowry on the roster (pest).

Brunson took a bit of a dive on that foul. It was not as bad as it looked.

This is why I don’t like to wish for 1 team vs another —- careful what you wish for. Think like Thibs said “we want to go thru the finish line” — so just play it out and play whoever is in the schedule (don’t manipulate anything)

Mitch = blind squirrel

Awesome, congrats. Where did you sit? What was the feel at the Mecca when they went down 17? Did they seem worried or just a lull that built up to an explosion? Anything noticeable you saw being their live we might not see on the telecast? Either way, good for you. LGK!

This may sound crazy and we can't really control it, the best scenario might be dropping to 4th as the Magic (if they stay in 5th) have the worst road record( 18-23) of all those possible teams we can play with our homecourt advantage. I say play to win and just man up to whoever we get, if we have the 2 that is possibly 2 rounds at home. But, just a thought if they can control it.

Who would have thought that team seeding desirability would depend on where Philly lands, the final game of the season, and whether they could be in the top 6 or out? Parity city.

I do love how the NBA put all the East games at the same time and the West did the same, smart, as no team will know what is going on until later in their games. The NBA got something right for a change.

Sometimes you aren't expecting as hard of a foul or where you get hit, could have been legit of a reaction. I know it looked embellished, but could have been real. Either way, it wasn't necessary to me, out of frustration that his team was going to fall short despite his heroic efforts the whole game. Regular season I think you should call that, playoffs, let it go, as you play them again and can handle your own business over a series.
