This to me was clear when they tanked as hard as possible out of the 2 spot. They are desperate to make a deep run and it was their best chance of survival until Giannis potentially gets back in there.
how did they tank it? They have sucked for awhile, worse with Doc, now no Giannis, Middleton is banged up and Dame is now aging in dog years. They are not good. That's a nose dive. Tank implies intention. Disagree on that oneWent on the Phili sub on reddit and they are PISSED they are getting the Knicks. "Doc phucked us AGAIN" LOL!!!!
They lost to the 3 worst teams in the league who were full fledged tank - Wizards, Grizzlies, Raptors - in a row while clinging to 2 seed, finished the season 3-8, sat Dame against OKC, and then benched Dame in the 4th quarter of the final game of the season when it was still a competitive game.
I think you underestimate Doc's coaching
I'm 97% sure she's smelling a fart.
Oops. A day early. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Scott Foster is fucking awful at his job. Absolutely fucking awful.

Dude received 134 calls from Tim Donnaghy in 7 months -- a time frame Donnaghy admitted to illegally betting on NBA games. Many of the calls took place on game days. Does Foster have dirt on those who should make sure he is nowhere near an NBA court?
That was bizarre. No idea what Zion injured.
Hell of a game......>Pets vs Lakers.
Zion kicking ass until 3 minutes left he pulls up hurt.
ADavis played 75 games this year. Career high.

groin or abdominal. Dude is made of glass. KP found a way to stay healthy, though I am waiting for him to go down in the play offs.

That is still a lot of weight. Dude needs to continue the weight loss program he is on. But the man is a load, pun intended

People guessing broken foot, knee, hammy, groin, abdominal, DoorDash.
Nick Wright went into Warrrior fan twitter spaces and was debating everyone. Even someone who I think is a warriors beat writer. He was cooking all of them.
It was pretty entertaining.

And in the biggest moment when they needed him most, poof.
And it was, as far as I could tell, non contact.
He finally played 70 games.

Listen, his health and ability to stay on the court is well documented fear at the time he was drafted. Even before when his sneaker blew apart in the game at Duke that as special as this kid is its a worry. I have not watched a lot of him this season but vs. lakers last night I marveled at his speed for his size! His power is incredible1
He was at 40 pts and his team surging. Damn shame. Im not pulling for or against either team.
Zion was looking incredible. He did not look "fat". He was fast and explosive to the rim.
The talent is there. The conditioning is there. The body composition betrays him. There is but so much gods creation can handle regarding stress on the bones and muscle. They cut his minutes a bit this season to about 31 per game. While he no doubt has certain gifts it still takes a lot of time and work to play at the level he demonstrated last night.
That and McCollum/Ingram both come up short when they needed it most also mattered. That roster just can't seem to put it together. Outside of Zion, im not sure David Griffin and Trajon Langdon are making the right moves. Seemingly there future looked infinitely great but bad fortune with Zion is one thing. The rest of it just is not working as it should.
One or both of CP3, Klay won’t be on team next year
