He's been in the postseason wars before with Utah. He might not always execute, but he knows the intensity required for this stage.
Embiid, Maxey, and Lowery have big games to no avail (but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't very concerned from the middle of the third quarter on).

Defense matters. Deuce fought to stay on Maxey. When we had to switch Maxey destroyed us. Mitch kept Embiid out of the paint and made him take jumpers. Thats how we stopped them in the 4th and in the 2nd.

But if you re-watch the 4th, he clearly was taking more jumpers— all of which were flat— because of his shotty knee. Factor in attrition over 3 more games and I doubt he holds up.

His FTs were flat, too but he was still making 90% of them.
Fun game. Role players really did their jobs today. Everyone contributed positively. Deuce, hart and Bogs were especially valuable.

Embiid kept Embiid out of the paint and decided to take jumpers. It's a product of him nursing that knee injury. Credit where credit is do though, even Embiid at 60% is elite.
