I think I can honestly say I've never been more on edge going into a game then I am going into this one. It's much more nerve wracking playing the series from in front. I have no idea what a game 7 will be like and I hope we don't have to find out.
20 FTs for Embiid and at least +10 for Philly. 
Foster is very hit and miss, I think.
My hope is that Sixers' whining irritates him the way CP3 used to irritate him

Agreed, emotions aside that would have been a horrible call on Maxey in that moment. We should not be rooting for the refs to decide playoff games on 50/50 calls. That will bite us eventually too. Let the players make winning plays. Maxey made them.

Hart wasn’t out and neither was Embiid when we got the benefit of the call a little before the Hart call.
we need a good game from Donte. To me that's the key. It has not been a good series for him and we really need the scoring he was giving us in the regular season.
I like our team's mental make up. I hope it's enough. Phili is just as banged up as we are and are also playing guys mad minutes.
We need Donte. We need a better crunch time offense than chuck-a-Jalen. Even with all that we are 3-2 and have every reason to believe we can win.

Thibs is who he is. He's not going to make drastic changes from a formula that won 50 games unless it's game 7 and he's desperate. I think the best we can hope for is that he does sit Donte earlier than usual if he's stinking up the joint. I have faith in Donte. I still remember that NCAA title game when he stepped up. I don't think Donte isn't clutch, but he's definitely in a funk.

I think Donte is clutch and has balls of steel. He's just in a funk. If we go to ECF there will be plenty of ebbs and flows for all of our guys.
I kind of agree with you on Thibs although he put Deuce on shadow duty when we played GSW out of nowhere. It's been 5 straight games the starters have played like dogshit.
DDV's big advantage is he can get shots off easier, quicker and from further out. but right now none of that is happening and he's shooting 33%. Deuce is shooting 50/46 and averaging 13ppg. he might just be making a case for starting SG next year. Is it crazy to think he can average 15ppg in 30mpg? while giving you elite defense?
OG, Mitch and Deuce starting could be the best defense in the NBA.

PHilly has two. Embiid was fried but his defense and rebounding mattered when needed.
And Maxey was incredible.
Right now Brunson is it. We have more depth than Philly but its all very close. The games are close.
The Refs are calling it both ways both good and bad.
Its a war on the court.
Its dawned upon me how fortunate we were to be up 2-0. For either team should they lose its not "another first round exit" with media swarming in on how to fix it or blow it up.
Forget the seedings. We were fortunate to move up. Philly had embiid out for a long time and they fell. They have two two all NBA players on that team. We have one healthy one.
Three games seperated us.
Would we be happy being up 3-2 if we were the 7th seed and Philly was the 2nd? I'd be.
Will I be sick to my stomach if we lose this series after being up and all but celebrating the end of game 5? I will. It will hurt badly.

I agree. However, I really hate that this is todays NBA. Before all this shit, 2 steps and you stop means travel. I lot of this shit is not basketball.
One thing I really like about our team, we don't have any player that actually travels intentionally. I mean, like part of their game. I also don't see any of our players carry the ball. I don't know man. Get off my lawn!

I really hope we start to see DD connect He's had a couple good moments but boy we are due for SOMEONE to light it up and we havent had that since McBride in game 1.
To me the path to winning this is some effective small ball. DD gets it going. We get DD/Brunson/McBride line ups cooking and it means either OG or Josh are getting a breather and we need that. Shit, I might even play Precious with a line up like that. Prolly only time you can.
Anyway I hope Thibs has something good cooked up and our boys show out!
