Mitch was needed for Embiid. Came back like a champ and battled hard. This series is clearly not a good matchup for him. We might be better with Precious the rest of the way from here.

Tough decisions to make in the off-season re: Mitch and Precious.

ToddTT @ 5/7/2024 8:50 PM
Fuck.
VDesai @ 5/7/2024 9:05 PM
Man we keep getting hit with body blows. Maybe this series not a Mitch series, but to win the glass we need him. We just cant keep losing bodies we are down to 7 playable guys.

This man was crucial to beating Embiid and the Sixers. Nothing but bad luck for him and injuries.

NYKBocker @ 5/7/2024 9:05 PM
Precious and Jericho. Next man up
nycericanguy @ 5/7/2024 9:06 PM
Damn...
nycericanguy @ 5/7/2024 9:07 PM
Mitch hasn't looked right for a while though TBH.
technomaster @ 5/7/2024 9:08 PM
Hmm... this is looking more and more like 1999. We make it the finals totally impaired... but this time we bring home the title.

Here's to a quick recovery for Mitch... and hope Hartenstein holds up!

Knicks were a dominant rebounding team without Mitch. Precious is a beast ORBer himself and gives us a different wrinkle defensively where Mitch and iHart can be redundant when there’s not a big ogre like Embiid to guard

DLeethal @ 5/7/2024 9:11 PM
We are awfully close to Jacob Toppin or Charlie Brown territory tho
Alpha1971 @ 5/7/2024 9:11 PM
Next season mayb he should lose 10-15 lbs to help the load on his feet and ankles.
blkexec @ 5/7/2024 9:13 PM
Love Mitch. He’s been my guy before we drafted him. But I’m not sure who we need him for right now. Precious is undersized but plays bigger for his size and agile enough to guard all these pick and rolls.

Next man up

VDesai @ 5/7/2024 9:17 PM
So we are blaming Embiid for this rigbt?

Mitch = Mr Glass

Good kid - always injured and even when healthy limping around the court.

Wish him full recovery.

I remember the play. And to add injury to insult, Mitch got called for a foul

[Kidding/sarcasm]

EwingsGlass @ 5/7/2024 9:40 PM
MitchBeast! Hope he recovers well and can have a decent offseason.

Next Man Up. Precious Achiuwa. Siakam’s daddy. Or PAPA.

Shake Milton. Your number may get called. That 7’0 wingspan should help you shut down McConnell.

Hard to replace MitchBeast but we have an excess of wingspan and footwork ready to man up.

I know you’re joking, but neither of those guys are on the playoff roster. Your next big body is after Sims is Mamadi Diakite. Then you got Shake Milton and Dacian Jeffries. So you got those scrubs and our healthy 7. Dat’s it folks

SupremeCommander @ 5/7/2024 9:54 PM
maybe if that dirty ass bitch Embiid hadn't yanked on his leg

fuck that fugazi bitch

Dayum. Really looks like it will be a 7 man rotation now. Grateful we have Precious on deck. I know there's a clamor for them, but barring blow outs which don't seem to be in the cards, I don't see Alec or Shake getting off the bench. Maybe for good reason.
