If that was there best punch they are cooked in game 4. Need Alec to stay decent. His minutes were huge in first half. Everyone expected them to win easy tonight and they needed every break possible to seal the game. Their halfcourt offense is a joke. We actually rebound the ball and game is over.

Fluke shot by Nembhard. You give him that every single time.

But too many missed bunnies, FTs and turnovers. Great game by DVo but wish he was more assertive and aggressive in the 4th. Burks gave us some good minutes. Achiuwa was solid. Hart was Hart. Overall it was a great effort but we lost all the 50/50 balls and Haliburton was open too much.

Injuries are concerning. Brunson looked better in the second half but he doesn't look right. Have to rest up tonight and tomorrow. We only need one here and we'll finish it at the Garden.

Knixkik @ 5/10/2024 9:55 PM
Tough loss but 2-1 series is ok. It never comes easily.
Knixkik @ 5/10/2024 9:55 PM
Silver lining is it’s nice to see Burks contribute because we need it.

ball popped him in the jaw. hell of a shot.
Brunson gutted it out.

Shot clock was running out, can't leave anyone that wide open. It was a long shot, but not pressuring it didn't help. Not a good quarter in any fashion. Too many open 3s all night, missed FTs, dumb turnovers, missed bunnies, not getting the loose balls when it matters, and horrible calls equals a loss as expected. Simply ugly, could have won it despite one-sided calls. Bring it Game 4.

Did we make a mistake not playing Precious at the end? Couldnt secure a board
knickslions @ 5/10/2024 10:05 PM
Won’t lose anymore. That was their best punch
DLeethal @ 5/10/2024 10:08 PM
I also thought we found something by using Hart on Turner and Hartenstein on Siakam.

Yea he needed to close just a little harder and no way he hits that.

Having no timeouts def didn’t help. Horrible challenge at the end by Thibs.

Jalen didnt want to commit the same foul they called on him in Houston. Same spot. Gave Nembhard sspace

Gotta do better than no contest though

NYStateOfMind @ 5/10/2024 10:11 PM
They better hope OG doesn't play Game 4. Their best effort needed assistance and the Knicks not playing well, despite a few solid performances. Weak win for them, but a win regardless.

Yeah it was a weak contest. We did so great on Haliburton there to allow that fucking shot

DLeethal @ 5/10/2024 10:12 PM
That was the best minutes distro we’ve had in a long time despite missing everybody
NYStateOfMind @ 5/10/2024 10:15 PM
He didn't need to foul, just get closer and feint contest. Not say make an open game-winning shot.

They stole several points from the Knicks. They weren't set when Hart hit a floater for the charge. Goaltend on Hart again, how do they not even look at it at that point of the game? Plus the Flagrant 1 for 2. How is what Embiid and this one both F1 calls? 6 points right there. Our goaltend and challenge were simply dumb. We could have won regardless if we played better and smarter. I do think fatigue has factored into this series.
Nalod @ 5/10/2024 10:47 PM
They got a few offense boards in the last few minutes. We did not execute FT's.
Nebhard hit a winner.
Shit happens.
