Makes a world of difference when other ball handlers are out there with him. Make him a wing not the lead guard.
With a successful game under his belt time for Burks to continue his successful play on Sunday. This is exactly why the team got him and Bogs. If he contributes to winning the deal would have been a success.

To answer Phil- YES! Absolutely one of the coolest cats in the NBA, I almost wish he played with a toothpick in his mouth to seal the deal as at OG.
And Yes! We gave up Grimes for Burks. We need his scoring.
Burks played well but can he do it again? I'm not so sure but without OGA he needs to play a few minutes.
I like playoff burks… wonder if he just needed some fresh legs under him. I was surprised by how bad he played to be banished to the bench and rightly so, he was off his game.
He’s still a talented 2way player…. I want more playoff MJ Burks

He’s played well for us in the playoffs before this season. We need another good game from him tonight in a bad way.

2021.
Burks has become that versatile wing scorer off the bench this team has been lacking in the playoffs. As long as he’s not playing any PG he’s good. Possible he was hurt during the season and now he’s fresh.
The Alec Burks who is taking quality higher percentage shots is pretty nice to have off the bench. His defense also made a difference.
The regular season Alec Burks who thought he needed to shoot every time he touched the ball not so much.
I’m glad he settled down and found his role on this team. Alec Burks I dub thee the new Taj
Credit the staff for getting him and others prepared.
He is executing the plan.

Seriously - just catch and shoot.
I get upset stomach when Burks trying to dribble up the court or pass ball in bounds.
When he is on the court his positional size at the 2 actually looks normal - not like with Brunson, Deuce, Josh who all play undersized.
Glad we got Alex out of the trunk.
KISS, Keep it simple stupid. Should be Alec's motto

I think that was it, in part, after the trade.

But wasn't he playing the lead guard position out of necessity? He was essentially Brunson back up when he came back to the knicks
