Are Fever piling it on?
Three straight women, two blondes with long tan legs. Another with generic non threatening look and is the a top 5 player with the world? Dare to say not the most athletic but skilled?

Im not saying it's even along racial lines but there is that. Plenty of angry ugly big white girls are throwing intensity to these girls, mostly CC of course. Is it that or are coaches trying to intimidate here? If so it's not working, she mostly does not lose her cool. She seems to lock in. If not, they trying to knock her out of the game? Player regardless of demographic or star status should be protected. It's criminal to not. These ladies seem to be more physical than the men these days? Not without precedence. People do like to watch women wrestle, mud wrestle and now fight in the ring.

My focus is on CC. Does Sabrina on liberty get this battering? Other girls? Naturally social media feeds me CC stuff and is basically showing Angel Reese as a comical failure. No doubt the social media biorhythms are attempting to sway my views and perhaps along racial lines. They make Angel look really bad, arrogant where CC is sent from heaven herself.

Perhaps WNBA is not stupid, the let this all go creating a classic tale of "good vs. evil" or let the rivalry do its thing.
NBA loved "Bird vs. Magic" and while there were not the same undertones as CC vs. Angel, it was born in NCAA tournament play and now perpetuates into the WNBA. Honestly it drew me in!

Maybrey is a fierce competitor. She will always mix it up. Hard to hate on her. If she were a Knick you'd love her. Kind of like a Josh Hart with breasts, handle and an offensive game. She's going to be in the middle of everything. I would have definitely watched that game if it was televised. Heck I would have watched it over Pacers/Thunder.

I never knew Sophie existed before this season.
Dig Lexie, the girl next store type. Gotta put the work in but once you there its magical. It's all tight in a good way.
Then on the way home drop in to the bar to see Sophie arm wrestle the Bikers and beat them, she take you home and she wants to be on top, OK by me! Next day Lexi bring some fresh blueberry muffins and don't ask were you were all night.

Maybrey? She there to fix the furnace. Not my type.

Ok, We are over 25% done with the season and I know enough of these players to form my own opinion instead of relying on old WNBA fans. I understand most won't care about a post this detailed about a WNBA team but I need to get it off my chest.

Front Office:
First of all this team is trash. The fit is really bad. The Front Office is more worried about having nice people in the locker room than actual good players on the court. Building around Caitlin is simple. Everyone except Sophie is soft as hell. They will watch Caitlin get jumped and just watch. Like Luka you surround him with 3&D players that can run. This front office is ran like old WNBA teams. Instead of going with pace and space they signed a bunch of old pass their prime players who are terrible shooters. So teams can easily double off them. We have two players signed who are USELESS while there are players cut that are way better. My confidence in this front office is down in the dumps.

Coach White:
She sucks. It is obvious she was carried by Alyssa Tomas. Her offense is trash as hell. She has the exact same offense as Thibs. The constant dribble handoff crap he likes to do until the playoffs where he then goes to ISO Brunson because everyone knows his offense won't work. She was said to be a defensive coach and out defense still sucks. Legit only 1 person on the team is playing up to expectations and that is because she is getting spood fed layups by Caitlin. This coach does not call plays for easy baskets. We went from the best fast break team in the league to the worst this year. The coach and the front office killed this team. They are no longer fun to watch. The coach said she wanted to play like the Pacers. That makes no sense because we don't have the shooters the Pacers have, We don't have the cutters the Pacers have. We don't have the playmakers the Pacers have. If you wanted to play like the Pacers you and the front office should have signed players that actually fit that style.

Players we signed in Free Agency
Sydney Colson:
She is not a serious player. She was signed to bring good vibes to the locker room. The problem is she is our only backup PG. She needs to be cut for a player that can actually contribute.

Brianna Turner:
She is not a serious player. She has no useful skills as a basketball player. Bad on defense. Bad on offense. She was signed because she is friends with the front office. That old guard WNBA mentality. She needs to be cut for a player that can actually contribute.

DeWanna Bonner:
Extremely old player. She is slow. She can't shoot. She can no longer defend. She is not helping us at all and she is on a max contract. Such a waste of money.

Natasha Howard:
Best of the players we signed but he is bad. She is soft mentally and plays soft. Her box scores will look good most games but if you watch it she is not a good player. She makes a ton of low iq mistakes. She is slow to process whats happening on the court and will always pass the ball to late and cause turnovers or react to a double tema too late. Below average rebounder and trash defender.

Player we got in trades
Sophie Cunningham:
She is having a bad year but I will give her grace because she basically had back to back injuries to start the season. We always knew she was just a role player but we need her to be 3&D for us do be good.

Returning Players
Aliyah Boston: Having a great year. She is our center but is legit our second best passer. That is how bad our team is contructed. She is a monster when playing P&R with Caitlin. The problem is this team is poorly constructed so team eventually cut off that P&R by doubling off of the non-shooters we signed. Damn out front office is dumb. Her whistle is legit the worst in the league. She gets so many phantom fouls.

Lexie Hull: Excellent 3&D role player for us. She drives a little too much when she has an open shot but she has been amazing and exactly the kind of player we need more of to put around Caitlin.

Damaris Dantas: She has been OK. She was better last season. She is just good for being a big that can hit the occasional outside shot.

Kelsey Mitchell: She was a superstar last season. She is just an all-star this season. She broke her finger player in China so her 3pt shot is trash this year. She missing free throws to. She used to be excellent at both of them. Her defense still sucks but now her offense is not good enough to make up for it. Very fast first step still.

Caitlin:
Caitlin is in a slump and to be honest playing like trash lately. After she got banged around in the Sun game she has lost all her fight and aggressiveness. She is still passing well but her shot has gone really bad. She is passing up open shots. She is no longer celebrating. She just has no energy. Once the team today noticed how she was hunter for passed they defended them and she was racking up the turnovers because she refused to mix it up even when she was open she would force the pass. She has been really bad for these last 2 games and the losses are mostly on her but this team does not fit her at all.

She is easy to defend because team can double and triple her and not pay for it. She is legit the only playmaker on the team. Reminds me a lot of the Knicks and Brunson. So now teams know once the ball is out of her hand the Fever are trash. We can't even punish the double and triple teams because this dumb front office brought in a bunch of non-shooters. Caitlin thrives in fast pace games. We are now the slowest team in the league. All the old players we signed can't play at a pace that benefits her.

Edit: I forgot to add our Rookie Makayla Timpson. I have no scouting on her because she gets no time. Our coach gives an actively bad player time over her just because she is a vet. She was said to be a good defense that is agile and athletic in the NCAA but I have no idea about any of that.
