where are the minutes for OG?

Come on man

I trust this FO whatever they do. I just wonder if the fact that OG declined his option drove Rose to go this route, as in, we're letting OG go and replacing him with Bridges.

Looking at the cap situation, renouncing OG, Burkes and Prescious probably lets us retain iHart and stay under the 1st apron.

I know Og and his plus/minus impact, but dude is never healthy and I can't imagine paying $40m for that kind of player.

This has nothing to do with OG. He was always going to decline his option. This was the only way he could get a better contract even if it is with us. I doubt it he leaves but it is still an option and he was going to decline either way.

That is a lot of picks but not an overpay since we gave up no talent in the trade. The extra picks cover the lack of young talent that teams usually give back in these trades.

I remember reading when we traded for OG, we did it so we would have the option of extending him if he opted in. Otherwise we could have waited- so clearly there was that hope.

Again, I might be reading too much into this, but the more I think on it, the more I see Rose being a master of building a squad and also managing the $.

If we had 12 first rounders between now and 2031 then we still have enough even after giving up these picks. Just draft well !

I agree.

Ian Begley said it's unlikely we keep I Hart, but didn't he say it's unlikely we trade with Brooklyn as well. This trade ain't final for two weeks. Let's see what Leon Rose does.
