Not in spirit

Step one of why I said to stop worrying about everyone panicking on twitter complete. Knew for sure we did not give up RJ and IQ to rent for a few months.

Now that its happened, this team just put the rest of the NBA on notice.

I really hope OG is able to stay healthy.

I see the Knicks trying to trade up and draft Edey tonight

They didn’t.

The max another team could have offered OG was 4/$182M.

Max Knicks could have offered was 5/$240m

Clean @ 6/26/2024 6:53 PM
By the way we prepared for this. This is why we gave some other players declining money. That will help offsets the eventual contract like OG that will raise each year. Cap god been preparing for this for years.

Getting Edey would be wet dream scenario for me.

Notice how the final numbers of the deal with OG were not completed until after the Bridges deal when we could have done this for days now. Ask yourself why is that.

Why

nycericanguy @ 6/26/2024 7:03 PM
how could Ihart want to leave this team after finally finding a home and having a chance at a chip in NYC? he'll be back
martin @ 6/26/2024 7:03 PM
And we need an OG over Embiid with the leg kick out style dunk once a week on the highlight reel

He’s gotta feel the fomo right about now.

Maybe Knicks planted those “unlikely to resign” stories knowing the fomo that would ensue when these first deals started dropping.

In my the perfect world it would be because they needed to see the numbers after the finalized Bridges deal to come up with a number both OG and iHart would be OK With from whats left over before hard cap. Obviously I don't have any inside info but I like to read between the lines.

I would guess that this number implies that there is a trade now in place for one of our players to reduce payroll. Most likely 1) Robinson 2) Randle 3) Both.

Ideal scenario is to remove Robinson’s salary for cap space and other asset(s). A move that results in Edey would be an interesting play.

A lot of money but had to be done. We needed to have OG and Bridges together to take the next step. I’m wondering if they have a plan to move Mitch and/or Randle in place

Ahh interesting. Any idea how much we need to shed to get under the apron?

The 212 number for OG is awfully precise

You know the Nova boys and the iHart-Mitch bigs group chats hooked up and it’s everyone doing whassap to each other. Randle the only adult rolling his eyes. All the IHart feels going around

. That a fair fear given what we saw this year so positive thoughts. I’m more scared about Brainwashed she’s because we know he hadn’t missed a game but for our luck he’ll get injured early on
