. That a fair fear given what we saw this year so positive thoughts. I’m more scared about Brainwashed she’s because we know he hadn’t missed a game but for our luck he’ll get injured early on

I don’t think losing Randle would keep us in this serious contention stage. I don’t think you trade 5 picks for Mikal to dump Randle and kind of set ourselves back in the “long shot” category.

Right now we are in the top 3-4 teams category. Losing Randle drops is back unless he’s replaced with a high caliber player IMO

Same

iHart had to wake up this morning feeling pretty good about his team

. The question with Randle is not his play which had been really good but really how he fits. I like Randle but I felt we played even better when he went down.

The ball movement opened up for sure.

He’s gotta feel the fomo right about now.

Maybe Knicks planted those “unlikely to resign” stories knowing the fomo that would ensue when these first deals started dropping.

You know the Nova boys and the iHart-Mitch bigs group chats hooked up and it’s everyone doing whassap to each other. Randle the only adult rolling his eyes. All the IHart feels going around

lol wasssssup!

Randle’s 3 All Star appearances, and 2 All NBA selections were outliers. Total flukes.

I’ll be impressed when he’s got 6 and 4, respectively.

Maybe.

I want to see Randle play some small ball 5 with all our floor spreader guards/wings.

The January run with Randle and OG was better than any 12-15 game stretch we had without him, by far and by every measurable statistic

The beating we laid on Denver was perhaps the most dominant performance I’ve witnessed against a competitive team.

Look, NBA contracts be crazy. Dillon Brooks makes $20M a year, and OG is 2x the player Brooks is. The salary cap will raise and no one will even remember this contract.

5x the Player and an infinitely better human being.

For OG it's not about the amount of regular season games he plays.

It's about being there for the playoffs. They really need him there.

I'm not worried about regular season. Knicks are so stacked and will dominate.

I'm expecting another 2 seed.

I’m expecting 3 #1 seeds :)

Overall in the league, right?

I hate this deal but we had no choice. Fingers crossed by some miracle he can stay healthy for once and play in an ECF if we can get there. But I don't trust him.
