Tears in my eyes watching him pick Frank and go in for dunk.

Any word if this is a guaranteed deal Orr maybe more like some type of camp invite?

Hi guys. New to the forum and 1st time posting after being a long time reader. A guy I have been keeping an eye on for the backup 5 spot just officially became available. Played for Ewing at G'town so there is that connection. Seems to have some good offensive skills and is a good rebounder. Hope we bring him aboard with our last roster spot. https://www.nba.com/jazz/news/utah-jazz-...

Our new favorite Knick? How long until we rag on Thibs for not unleashing him? Shooting %’s not good. Had an ACL that set him back. Played in the NBA though.
A body.

At the very least it’s good they are taking the backend of the roster seriously. It’s been rough with guys like Jeffries, Diakite and Toppin occupying roster spots but not really playable. Dadiet is going to be the 15th man for a couple of seasons essentially, and given his age that’s totally fine. But at the very least we need 13 very playable players who Thibs will trust for minutes throughout the season.

Yes this is exactly what I’m talking about. Nice upgrade. The Knicks got better this summer with the bridges trade but they also took the backend of the roster and the draft serious this summer, 2 areas where it’s been probably easiest to criticize the front office. They now have backend depth and they also have a legit pipeline of prospects coming through. Drafting 4 players (plus still having Rokas rights) was the answer to probably not having a lot of picks for the next many years. This was the reload.

I think you are so spot on, all of it. FO in different mode now and it’s fun to watch unravel.
Still got the Randle Mitch backup C spots to unravel but things look so good moving foward.

Issue for Lnicks bringing him on is that they already have fringe guys as backups. Ie. Sims (Rumblings of him putting in work this summer), Precious. Don’t see reason to add another one. Feel they will stay put until mid season and, if things don’t work out, look to trade for a bigger name. Teams can unload new signings in Dec.
