"The Knicks and Robinson don't want to rush the rehab process and is targeting a December/January return date, per sources," Begley said. "Robinson and the Knicks are being cautious and want to make sure he is 100 percent healthy before he gets back. New York is confident in the depth and versatility of the roster until Robinson returns."

Zero surprise. On the bright side, we get to see what we can do without iHart and Mitch sooner rather than later.

Small ball to the rescue!

Embiid is a piece of shit. But this injury was probably just waiting to happen.

Mitch should only be aiming for the playoffs at this point, IMO.

I really fucking hate Embiid.

Watched it a few times. Embiid not to blame on that one. Dirty on other plays.

They just about there.

Mid season tourney in mid December, Mitch will miss that excitement.

January and then get the early Feb all star break. 1 week of games at end of Feb, March, and 2 weeks in April to finish out season.

Mitch will play just about 2 and a half to 3 months before playoffs.

Mitch will ramp up in January. Take the all star break and post all his swimming videos. By end of March he will finally be in shape and then April, baring a tackle by Embiid, will finally be in "mid-season" shape for the playoffs.

His usual 40 games.

I didnt know this was coming. Not months into the season.

Could also take a month or two for Mitch to get up to speed. I will be surprised if Mitch is our starting center the following season. I see the FO making a big push this season, or next offseason to find a younger, more reliable replacement.

Damn shame. Mitch cant catch a break on serious injuries.

So starts the NY version of small ball, GS-style basketball?
SupremeCommander @ 9/23/2024 3:58 PM
There is way more good than bad with this FO… but I man glad we drafted a center when we’re had the chance! Dadiet better be the fucking goods

Does this send shivers down anyone else’s spine?
