Sims playing anything but C is ..... something very bad.

Mikal, OG, Hart, with Deuce & Shamet offer plenty of depth on the wing. Its the forward position that could us another body whose ready to contribute. But even that could be covered by KAT depending on the circumstances. Like the availability of Mitch.
If Mikal, OG, Hart are starting we have no one over 6'4 to play the wing/forward spots until Dadiet. We don't have any backup forwards with ball skills on the bench right now.
Mikal will slide between the 2/3
OG will slide between the 3/4
Hart will slide between the 2/3
Deuce will slide between the 2/1
Mins will be staggered which 2 of these players will be in the line up covering the 2&3. Mikal/OG, Hart/Mikal, Deuce/Mikal, Deuce/Hart, Deuce/OG, Hart/OG.
The spot that needs coverage is more at the 4. OG goes down then Hart & Mikal will probably get spot mins there as it stands behind Precious getting 30+mins. Shamet will then slide into the wing rotation to cover for the mins at the 2 that Hart & Mikal would be getting.
If Mitch is healthy though. Than KAT would play those mins at the 4 instead of Hart & Mikal. Kat could still play those mins at the 4 even if Mitch wasn't healthy. With Sims getting C mins instead of Hart & Mikal getting mins at PF.
They will stagger at full health and will be fine at full health but Hart will be playing 48 mins again if/when OG goes down. Need a backup 3/4 no matter how we slice it. I think they know this and will find one.

Hart playing 48mins was due to Mitch, Randle, OG, & Bojan all going down with injuries not just OG.
If OG were to go down. Mikal & Hart can both play the 3. Deuce & Shamet can both cover the 2. Again its agreed that PF could use another body. Maybe even PF/C if its an upgrade over Sims, but the urgency for it would depend on other variables. Precious & Towns can both play the 4. If Mitch is in the lineup then its not a pressing issue. If Mitch is out leaving Sims to cover more mins at C while Towns plays some mins at PF. The level of urgency would depend on Sims ability to contribute.

I think Thibs accidentally thought he was signing off on Josh Okogie. Thibs lusts for offensively limited African wings who can defend. If they can score? They're getting 40 minutes a night, easily. Hope OG is rested up.
Lets not forget Jalen broke his hand and by then we were toast.
Sims? He sticks for a reason? At his age and silly athletics he intrigues the staff.
All things the same, he is a factor off the bench to some degree.
If we all in, then Leon does a deal for Mitch.
Nalod heading to a wedding in Charleston this weekend. Will be near Charlotte on way home. Mrs Nalod says "No, we are not going to 5pm preseason game". I said its Destiny. She said "you don't even watch preseason". She is right. I'll pass.

Dude!!! You need to stop and atleast check out a Q or two. That breakfast place, Toast, is worth stopping for on its own. I would drive up but I have a memorial service to go to. It’s a 4+1/2 hr drive that’s how excited I am about this team and this season.
look at how long Bridges is... Bridges has a 7'1 wingspan. OG has a 7'2 wingspan. Josh eats wings. We are so solid between KAT/Brunson
I suspect the end of Toppin’s run with us if two of Shamet, Okeke and Warren prove to be valuable enough.
Exhibit 10 contracts can be converted into two-way contracts, which can be converted into a 1.15M signing. It would seem like one of Warren and Okeke could be converted that way, thus not necessarily having to sign one of our rooks to possibly not do anything on the team.
But you can only have 3 two-way contracts, which right now is Hukporti, McCullar and Toppin.
Two-way conversions have to be done prior to the start of the regular season, so training camp will have a very interesting subplot this season.
Oh, and each team can have up to six Exhibit 10 contracts, so we might stay active.
Knicks don't even care to sign backup C's to these exhibit contracts
It's just wing shooters
There we go. A nice 6’8” forward. Much needed hope he makes the cut.
