Total love and respect here. Hope to see him around the garden this year.

He might be the first MVP to not be inducted to HOF? Bulls only have retired numbers of Jordan, Bill Russell, Pippen, Bob love and Jerry Sloan as players. MVP is a special season and he from Chicago would be a special honor. Hope they do that.
Shame his injuries cut his career trajectory as it did.

A perfect bromance

Wouldn't hurt you to say something positive about the man.

Did his Adidas contract finish? I thought it paid something like 20 million for every year he played or something ridiculous like that. Let's hope he comes to the Knicks as a coach.

He had another year on it. I think he mailed it in last year and his body just can't keep up. He tried very hard but his body just could not hold up. I suppose he could have ridden the pine for the last year of his contract and the Adidas money. Maybe Adida's offered him a payout if he wanted out?
Saying something nice? There is a tale of two Drones. One was an arrogant young man flaunting his stature. Then there was the angry Drose trying to come back. Then there was the unstable Drose caught up in a civil rape charge and went awall on knicks. Then we have the half a magical season back with us under Thibs and now he is beloved. Don't get me wrong, he played great and I respect his career. Like I said, I hope he gets big love in Chicago.
His career dynamic and bouts flashing his old self with heartbreaks for sure tugged at the heart strings of fans. We do root for guys to come back when they get knocked down. I enjoyed his tenure here.
