This is a pretty immature and cruel thing to say, and I think captures the sentiment of all of us on this board.
Just one leg? Kinda underselling the sentiments a tad don’t you think?
Thinking about Mitch Robinson history of injuries it sadly dawned on me that we can't depend on him to play 50 games this year and when he returns we would be worried every time he slips to the floor that he has suffered another injury. Big centers with injuries seldom put injuries to the past and can only expect to be fragile. Imagine Philly counting on Embid to be healthy all year and in the playoffs. Embid has absolutely more responsibilities on the offense and defense then does Mitch and arguably a more fragile body. And Philly has Embid and Paul George another often injured key player. Makes me think of the Knicks teams that counted on Patrick Ewing, Stat, Camby and Houston others to stay healthy once their injuries began to surface
This just dawn upon you?
I’ll take it a step further.
If Mitch announced that he is retiring, I would not be shocked. I don’t want that for Mitch, but I’m prepared for it.
I can see him playing anywhere from 0 to 40 games for us this regular season due to injury.

I can see him sitting out the year and healing ready for his contract year. I can see him being traded tomorrow. I can see him slotted as starting next to KAT. This can go anywhere.
Sorry for the sarcasm. We bitterly been talking about the knicks gaping hole because of his fragility and this before it was announced he'd miss until potentially January! The whole "Randle at the 5" was something I pushed back at because bully ball is lessor when you consider Randles body transformation to be quicker and leaner. I know Thibs and others talked about it but when you read as much as some of us do the logic is not always there. NBA front office say shit all the time and perhaps they have to say something and of course things change on a dime. Leon was patient until he as not.

I'll say the quiet part out loud. KAT hasn't that many more games than Mitch over the past 4 seasons. https://stathead.com/tiny/zpUNs

At the RealGM Knicks forum one of their posters has a hilarious remark attached to his user name, This board is full of bad people " Or something like that. That's how I feel about many here, this board is also full of bad people. 😂

I'm calling Minnesota in February and asking what they want for DVo.

“That’s why the summer’s been so big for me, bro. The last two years were so tough for me, ’cause like, you try to measure yourself to what you were, and like, all the accomplishments and all that, and I let so much other crap get into my head, and I forgot why I really play this game. Yeah, ’cause I love it, you know? I’m trying to measure myself to everyone else’s standard. I didn’t realize how big a waste of energy that is, man. You’ve seen it in the comments. You’re gonna get people like, sometimes, they’re writing foul stuff, and don’t ever let that stop you from what you do, bro. Yeah, I feel like that impeded what I was great at last year.” “At the end of the day, I look back like, bro, I still play a phenomenal brand of ball. Like, you 18 a game, 39% from three. I’m not gonna let someone tell me that’s not great. You would’ve told me that as an 18-year-old, I’d be like, ‘Hell yeah!'”
Yeah, ok Klay. Hope you play well cuz that shit gonna get written again if you don't. Basically you just said your contract is about validating yourself. Now you got one, its about the LOVE. If it was about the love, you would have stayed in GSW were they loved you. Were they paid you and stuck with you for 2.5 years while you rehabbed. You did not want to come off the bench. You wanted to get paid. Now you remember why you play. Nothing wrong with that regurgitating your therapy sessions, but its a bit transparent. The ego is big. Own it.
I'm calling bullshit on your bullshit.
I think the most heroic scene I ever saw on the court was Klay coming back to shoot his free throws on a busted Achilles vs. Toronto in the Finals. That was legendary. Guy did everything he could for the franchise and ended up getting moved to save salary because the team decided to give Wiggins and Poole the bag.
As far as ego, did you ever see Klay's eyewitness news interview on scaffolding? Guy is a huge star but is totally willing to give his thoughts on a public issue as a regular Joe.
GSW front office didn't show Klay the love, instead they doubled down on Draymond Green. I'm happy he's going to have another chance to compete.

I love Deni and think Washington got a good deal back.
Wizards should keep Malcolm just long enough for him to establish some stability with young crew and pump up his trade value.

He shot the FT's incase he could come back to play. Cry me a river. Your forgetting he was benched and was not cool with it given his ego. I get it, big come down from a HOF track career. But now he got validated with a contract bigger than GSW offered and a starting job, its about "Love".

Imagine this guy was a coach? He’d get Latrell’d within a week.
Nalod@ 10/8/2024 8:30 AM
This guys has his schtick doing the "sam Kinison" thing reviewing tape of bad play. He finds video of guys playing bad, and gets to rip them apart. I guess he is doing well with hit. Ripping Bronny apart in preseason? Its obvious "His father" lines he is jumping on the "Bronny Hate" thing as it will get views.
Nalod thinks Lebron after 20 years is finding motivations to keep going. One can keep going as long as the body holds up but perhaps taking on the challenge of not just succeeding with his new coach, but his son! Its ok in my book for Bronny to get preseason run to point out what he needs to work on in the Gleague. I think he should get Called up early so they can get in a game together. Never know if Lebron goes down with an injury. After that, kid has to earn his stripes in the NBA to stay. Im rooting for the kid but he has to earn it. As for 5 min with his pops early on, its not that Bronny has earned it, but Lebron has.
