To be fair, Sacramento won the Hali trade! But what a turn around from "Light the Beam" to "Turn Off the Lights"!

That Pacers/Bucks series just got interesting.

Basketball is not this important. I hope the doctors are 100% sure.
Shaq making his hawk sound was not funny the first time he did it. Still not funny 1000x later.
Greg Anthony calls a terrible game.

I honestly don't get the appeal of Shaq. He's not funny and he doesn't provide any insight or analysis. He's actually pretty annoying and dumb imo. Admits he doesn't even watch most teams or even takes the time to do his job and study the games he covers or it's players. Maybe the younger generation finds him interesting but I think he's bad at his job and bad for the league. Why would you want someone like him trashing your product and looking stupid when you're trying to increase ratings?
What at your Finals predictions?
I say Knicks over Thunder in 6
but if that doesn't happen I'll go with Thunder over Celtics in 7. I don't see anyone in the East touching or giving the Celtics much of a fight.
Adam Silver will try his hardest to get the Lakers there over OKC but talent will win. I do think it's SGA's time and he will respond and cement himself as one of the best players to ever do it.

That's what I'd like to see, realistically.
Less realistically, Minny over Celtics.
No love for Clev?
Here is how I think it goes:
Seeding matters. Cavs and Celtics in east vs. Thunder and Minny out west.
I think Minny wins Actually. Cav's take them out.
Nightmare ratings. Cleveland vs. Minny but it goes seven and its a great series. Ratings improve and parity proves ok.
What I want to see happen........
Knicks in 5 vs. Detroit.
Orlando either beats Boston in a bloody match or they get very beaten. Horeford and Holiday start to age before our eyes and Brown's knee is not all there. Tatum has an epic series. Either way they are tenderized for series vs. Knicks.
Meanwhile in NYC, knicks are dialed in and hungry. They beat Celtics in 6. Not an easy series as the champs go out with pride. OG and Mitch are a masterclass in defense. KP has a good series but its not enough.
Knicks vs. Clev? I want knicks to win, but all in Clev depth is too much. Spida keeps his ego in check and lets others star.
Out west? Not gonna be happy if knicks are eliminated and seeing Randle/iHart go at it in conf. finals. Might have to take a break here as some fans will get emotional about things. Personally I don't give a fuck who wins is its not knicks.
I suppose I might be asleep about Rockets?
In 20 years I have come to respect Lebron's game and would enjoy seeing him win but not lakers and can't fathom Luka making it thru the west intact. That and have to listen to Dallas fans or haters keep going on about the trade.
My levels of hope for knicks is not based on the regular season failure against OKC, BOS, and Clev, but the Thibian preparation with a healthy Mitch, and Deuce off the bench, and the season long restoration of Shamet. if he can come in and hit a few 3's to keep us going that could be huge. He need not gunsling but take the heat off. Deuce defense and few outbursts of scoring could be a nice touch. Knicks have to stay healthy and others need to be less then fulls strength. Shit happens. Maybe it goes our way this year.
Jericho out here as a rotation player on a playoff team. Happy for him.
Could never be a broadcaster. I let out an involuntary "ha" each time a Haliburton shot pops out.

Now you know what Wally feels like. And he also needs to deal with random Knicks fans giving him the evil eye and clenched fists every time they walk by
