Ehhh… it’s not like he was going to catch up to Caruso and SGA.
This narrative always got me.
I blame Conley who was in front of him and a faster guard. And he didn’t even try to stop them!
The pouting is what gets most. But did they really need to point it out when he balled in the playoffs and guys like Mcdaniels, Conley, Alexander, Reid, Gobert and Divo shot the bed?
Conley's fault?? No, Randle commited 4 turnovers all in the 1st half, 3 in the first qaurter when he put the ball on the floor trying to create and got stripped. All 3 of those turnovers led to dunks and layups in the 1s quarter when OKC went on that early run that pretty much put the game away. Since he was here in NY, it was always an adventure when Randle decided to put the ball on the floor 20 feet away from the basket because it was a greater chance he was going to get stripped, throw the ball away or travel. He knows this is on the scouting report and yet, he still spends way too much time facing up, 20 feet out as opposed to playing 10-12 feet away and using his weight advantage.
Randle was getting praised in the GS series when he played well. I see no problem with them pointing out when he doesn't play well, like when he dropped 6pts in game 2 and 5pts in game 4. Speaking of pouting, he was pouting in game 4 when he was benched the majority of the 4th, came in late and didn't even attempt to prevent an inbounds pass when they were trying to get back in the game. WCF every game is under a microscope...play well, get praised, if you don't play well.....you get the point
Guess you missed the sarcasm.
Mentioned pouting always invites criticism.
You are right he had a terrible game 4.
Still dribbles too much in a crowd. Specially against best defense in NBA.
But he played extremely well in the post season and was a big reason why they got to the WCF.
Proving the BS about him not being able to play well in playoffs was more about being healthy and not having a bunch of role players around him.
Cooper Flagg Signed with CAA. You know what that means?

Might want to put a wrap on that Zion for now, although we all know Zion doesn't like wrapping it up when pounding it to the hole.

Sign and trade Bridges and ? for Zion. Yes I know we would be heading in the opposite direction when it comes to availability, but I think its worth the risk. Having an ironman on the roster after Zion might entice them.
The medical and training staff did an amazing job keeping players like OG on the court. Whose injury history rivals Zion. Its the last thing Eastern contenders wants to see.
Zion wants to be a Knick like no other star before him.
Zion is further off the list for this organization. Lawsuit of r ape just filed.

Damn, those are serious charges. Just read the Times article. That’s the kind of offense that could get him bounced from the league, for a while anyway. Innocent until proven guilty. But that’s going to take a while to sort out.
Holy cow didn’t realize the numbers were in this range

Its why there is the Lowest number of those going into the draft by a lot. the Money is incredible.
Its keeping players in school and perhaps the product improves and players come out more complete.
I can't believe I've been lamenting the loss of Foolius Randle, and here we are two W's away from the Finals!!!
What was I thinking?!?!?

Johnnie Bryant in the running for PHX head coaching job.
I think its a good matchup from a basketball standpoint. Both teams are capable of playing fast and putting up some big numbers. Indy, like it or not, has been on a tear since January and is playing at a high level. They both will play press, but Indy likes to push and play on tilt. Minnesota had no chance with their lack of bodies at PG, but Indy with the likes of Haliburton, McConnell and Nembhard handling the ball I think are well equipped.
Two corny fan bases wearing yellow and blue t-shirts, but possibly a good matchup from a pure basketball standpoint.

Objectively speaking, its a really good match up and potential to be a good series. No doubt edge will be OKC but in this age of parity its tough to call.

Good for Bryant...Always hoped he would be Thibs successor at some point.
NBA hype machine a bit much with this "Conference finals" participation trophy bullshit.
No, it does not hurt the league and gives fans something to cheer about evident by our Bing Bong mobs who got wasted and took to the streets. Back he day it was called "Semi finals"... NBA is taking on other sports that celebrate like baseball does "winning the pennant". Back int he day it was kind of cool before you had playoffs. You played 162 games as your league champ (before interleave play) and earned a spot to play in the World Series.
Football, NFC champ and AFC champ. Both MLB and NFL made a nice spectacle of it.
NBA Now has MVP for SEMI FINALS! Trophys with more names!!!! More banners I guess. Big celebrations for making the finals.
But seeing Halliburton get woofed out of the trophy was worth staying up to watch it!!!!
