Knicks are loaded with guards. Unless they view him as more of a wing.

They reportedly see Deuce as more of wing, so who knows? The Rock would be the Knicks second tallest perimeter player off the bench if he came.

Good catch. Yeah forgot about that dude. Looks like he broke his thumb but is close to returning.

Hope he lights it up!!!! With Dadiet in place and Kolek right there, not much room for Rokas.
But trades do happen! Leon and Co. got this. The path is never smooth, but he is.

Matt Ryan is likely the replacement any day now. Shams called it randomly and he's never pulling random stuff out like that. Begley corroborated it.

Honestly a flamethrower like that is needed somewhere on this team to help replace some of that quick trigger shooting we lost with DDV.

Payne, Deuce, Matty Ice, Precious/Mitch is a nice bench.

Maybe move Deuce into starting line-up and around December our bench 5 is Payne/Shamet/Ryan/Hart/Precious with our other starters mixed in.

While I appreciate and love some of Hart’s intangibles and effort plays I can’t help wonder if leaving him in starting unit negates some of what we are trying to do with Brunson/Kat and spread floor with shooters.

Hart was great late last year because he had/could be but with more talent in starting unit I think he may have or need to defer rather than play balls to the wall.

Brock Aller at it again? Knicks trading for top 2 picks in G-League draft to somehow get access to the players they covet but cannot sign outright?

Interesting

Jake Fischer: And we have a trade! The Cleveland Charge have dealt the No. 2 pick in tomorrow’s G League Draft to the Westchester Knicks, league sources say. Westchester now holds picks Nos. 1 and 2, leaving Cleveland with pick No. 3. Player rights were also exchanged in the deal. – via x.com

Marc Stein: Landry Shamet and Matt Ryan, players the Knicks are known to covet when they take their roster from 12 to 14, are both eligible for Saturday’s @nbagleague draft, sources say. Westchester owns the top two picks; drafting Shamet enables the Knicks to supervise his shoulder rehab. – via x.com
