My bravado revenge theme didn’t stand up so well to actual game play.
Miami is 2 & 1, having beaten some easy teams in the Pistons and Charlotte, and loss to Orlando who last year was a surprise for many.
Hart is questionable, which means he’ll probably play and Thibs won’t stop him.
The Heat have been a nasty thorn in our side, and every year seem to find a way to compete with string and gum holding the roster together.
Butler, Bam, Duncan, Herro, Rozier. They always bring their A game against the Knicks.
Can we get Kat to be a tiger and not a pussy? Maybe score more than 8 points?
Can Jalen regain some of his magic from last year, and maybe orchestrate vs. frustrate with his play?
Who will step up as our Knicks aim to level their record at 2 & 2?
We haven't lost twice in a row with OG and Brunson usually bounces back with a monster game so I think we're winning tonight.
And that old geezer Kevin Love who always kills us is out tonight.
Still not worried even if we lose this one. We will hit a soft spot in the schedule and make up ground. Boston-Indy-CLE-MIA are like the most seasoned teams in the east and we are a brand new cast. Will take 20 games to gel IMO. Need to tread water and we will. Always good to beat Miami though.
Where are the Heat honeys?

Just for you. This is, of course, Florida where all people go when they’re old:

ToddTT we need you. My eyes are burning
I have come to the conclusion that I think the NBA is going to much into 3's. I like offense based on spacing but I like when you use the spacing. Right now everything is a 3pt contest and whoever shoots better wins.

If the build a statue of you in the future, this should be inscripted on it.
There is a profound regal tone about this that should be kept for future generations.

I am thinking this is the reason why I have been loving Bridges work in the mid range this season. I also have a thing for player that cut. It is one of the reasons I was such an Obi fan. I think my perfect playstyle is 90s basketball with no handchecking and a little less postups but don't completely take them away.
OK, This is the game where we figure it out!
Defense has not looked great for a team that has OG and Mikal.
