I think its pretty clear iHart is the difference. We always gave up 3pters. I mean we been having this conversation since the year we played the Hawks in the playoffs. The difference this year is we also give up drives. iHart would make players alter their shots and he covered a lot of mistakes. We have no one who can do that now. Mitch can't stay healthy enough for him to be counted. I would not say Randle has a winners mentality. I would say we miss his playmaking. I know I say this a lot but that was the reason why I did not want to go all in on Bridges. He has never been a playmaker. It was obvious once we got to the playoffs teams could key in on Brunson because we lacked other playmakers. This is basic roster contruction that was ignored. All Thibs talks about is drive and kick. Well you need to drive for the kick to happen and none of the players outside of Brunson can do that consistantly.

looking at the box score - we both have 10. We have more d boards - 24 to their 18.
we have 16 turnovers - they have 10.
Still - that doesn't pass the eye test. They have had multiple offensive boards on possessions where they score.
The foul calls are brutal in this game. Not the reason we are losing, but its bad
Is Bridges ever gonna make open 3s
now Bridges drops an easy pass that would have been an open layup

I’d rather see the whole bench.
I don’t get Thibs in this: his starting lineup is playing like trash, getting more turnovers than shots in. A message needs to be sent, a change of pace is necessary, and he keeps his whole bench glued.
this team looks tired - flat. And the road trip - 5 games in like 11 days - was only long in the sense of 11 days - we haven't had any back to backs - lots of space between games.
There are two guys that are a + right now on our side - that's Payne and McBride.
I'm sinking into Fire Thibs. Sorry all!
Bridges looks like sh#t and OG looks like he shot his load in Denver ..Ball and body movement not the same this sfternoon...
Giving up a 3 off an offensive board is such a back breaker.
Brunson is the only one who can score. He needs to be taking more shots

I would totally blame us playing like crap. I’ve seen games where I hate the refs or hate the opponent, not this one. I hate our team. They have been undisciplined, uninspired, disorganized and careless. They are still close, but wow if they win, this would be such an undeserving win. They have sucked in every aspect of the game against basically a G-League team.
I keep waiting for them to show they are improving towards that contender status, but every time they seem to take one or two steps back. The Hornets, the heavily undermanned Hornets, is out-hustling us in such an embarrassing way.
This is a very low point. This team is hot garbage.
four offensive fouls for Kat. Unreal.
It’s been a while I’ve seen such a pathetic and lifeless showing by the Knicks.
Game is still right there for them to win in spite of this trash effort.
This is the same issue I have had for years with Thibs defense. Why is Brunson under the rim? KAT is right there. He should be in the passing lanes. Brunson being under the hoop gives them wide open 3's on the weakside. This been going on for YEARS. Here is why every poor shooting team or player shoots well vs us.

Not happening. This team is soft. Mikal - garbage. I can't believe he has disappeared like he did. I have slim hope if he were moved to the bench, he might yet recover some semblance of the player that played in the NBA.
OG is not a Power Forward.
Kat is soft. If I could trade him for 'an in-his-prime' Kurt Thomas, I would in a second.
Josh Hart is a wonderful player - but not in the NBA if he is playing 37+ minutes every night.
Jalen looks like teams have figured out how to minimize his damage and he has struggled to impact the game other ways.
And Thibs will not play anyone from the bench, even when it is painfully clear the starters are spent.
Is there football on yet?

Fortunately we are so good in the 4th quarters… We just need to get stops, out bread and butter…
Knicks cant even run a simple fast break
WE ARE SO PATHETIC
WE ARE A TURNOVER MACHINE
Deuce showing his importance
