Brunson is in help position with his man on the weak side. This was the ideal defensive position 10 years ago but not vs a 5 out offense that's looking for drive an kicks to shoot 3s. If you follow the play, Hart and Brunson run an X cut (Tarkanian and UNLV used to run X cuts on defense). Not a bad idea but, Brunson is too far under the basket to recover in time. Plus, he is not athletic or long enough.

This is a beyond horrific game from the Knicks that only because of the opponent we are so close.

Even Brunson misses free throws in crunch time. This is honestly worst-case-scenario Knicks, which considering some of our previous games is not far of a trend. No matter the final result, this has been a putrid and embarrassing performance.

WORST WIN OF THE SEASON

This team is trending down in titanic fashion. What a pathetic game. Can’t believe I would ever be so mad after a win, but this was pathetic. This team is so far from contention it’s not even funny.
