they are always hurt. Hard to tell if IQ/RJ/Barnes are the trio to build a program around. But all 3 show plenty
I said im worried about Toronto becuae we have like three games with them this month. Sometimes teams with bad records get injured players back and find chemistry.
So yeah, Im not about to sit down expecting a win as if we elite quite yet.
Im not as euphoric as some of us are and thus im not "Disgusted" by losses even to teams with bad records.
Clyde knows 1000 times more than I'll ever know, but when calling a game he becomes the voice of the game and our interpretation. While not 100% of course, I disagree with is early assessment of the Detroit game were we were leaving players wide open. I saw it as Pistons executing some things very well, mainly cross court passing and then hitting those shots. Dumfounding how seemingly everyone knows the issue but can't stop it right away? Its good execution! Knicks fixed it eventually but did not have enough to get a lead. Detroit played very well. WE did not play up to our best ball. Its the NBA, this shit will happen.
We were missing KAT, our best player. Also with Payne out it changed the second unit.
Blaming Sims afer a string of really good games is easy. I know we all want Huk to step up and perhaps that is the plan but Thibs has some flag posts perhaps he wants to see before promoting him over Sims. Perhaps that has occurred already.
Toronto been growing Dick. He hung 27 in his last game. IQ I gather is still out. Kat back? Payne? Will Payne actually make it thru the season? Kolek seems further back then our summer league preseason hype suggested.
Toronto has some guys who can really play and score so we def cannot underestimate them. We should've learned our lesson by now with the Utah and Detroit game. If you disrespect the game and do not put in the proper effort and energy defensively and on the glass, then anyone can beat you. I expect Thibs and Brunson as the Cap to have these guys ready to go from the start and it starts with defense and rebounding.
Better defend and take care of the ball in this one or could get ugly

Not as bad as the Mets disrespected the Yankees and FA over the weekend?
https://www.sportsnet.ca/nba/longform/ho...Nice piece about RJ. In the end they are happy. He is outperforming his contract (so says the article) and they are happy. We love OG and we are happy.
They got two starters and traded Siakim later as to start their rebuild.
Bit of dig at Randle I think. He says he cut to the rim but rarely got the ball. Im thinking that was Jules.
He was our home grown rook for 4 years. I'll always wish him well. Hope he goes for 40 pts tonite as long as we win!

He is still a high usage, low efficiency player. His 30 or so games last season in Toronto had me believing it wasn't him, but he has fully regressed this year to the same low efficiency ball player we had.

Could be because Barnes and IQ have missed so many games.I think we all agree that RJ will never be a primary option for an extended period of time. But I'd like to see him when he gets to play a tertiary ball handler on a healthy Raptors lineup.

mostly he was always a bad fit w/ Jules. Felt that was the biggest thing. He would be fine with this group playing Josh Hart's role but apples to apples we got the right guys
We better brace ourselves for some big Dick work. And the jokes that will squirt forth from the vulgar participants of this board.

We all know Gradey starts spraying from the outside when he gets pumped. But we got a Plan A and Plan B in place to stop him from being effective. I expect OG and Bridges to wrap it up for the night.
RJ is a big strong dude and OG makes him look small by comparison holy cow

“Toronto been growing Dick. Hes hung”
Well damn Nolad thanks for the update. Now exactly how long has Toronto been doing this? Are you a client?
The vibes got an erection
Lol at the Knicks giving up an instant 13-0 run after going up 11
We should shoot a lot of 3's but when you have gone called and are trying to stop a run get an easy 2 please
