These refs though. GARBAGE 🗑
What's that 21 offensive boards for Atlanta--beyond belief?
OG took the night off too. Brunson looked awful. Towns played one half. Miles was terrible all game. Great effort fellows

Yup, Thibs defensive scheme is good for the 90s but trash for now since everyone can shoot 3's.
This game turned on a challenge and non-challenge. Knicks were gaining momentum and the Hawks won a challenge on. Josh Hart play - then we didnt challenge a tip on the FT that was on the cylinder. Big momentum swing
Games like this make me realize Mitch should rest the entire season so we have him available and healthy for the playoffs

Refs were beyond horrible. If Silver wants to know why ratings are down 28% maybe it’s because nobody not named Lebron or Steph gets calls. JB and KAT need to start getting calls. KAT was getting hacked, elbowed etc and he himself almost fouled out

Perhaps because We need Mitch more than ever. He's absolutely necessary
Hawks beat Cavs and Celtics on the road, so its not just about our D. This is a game where we could have used Mitch, or maybe Huk.
As grating as it is losing to Trae and company, its good to have real rivals. Young looked less frenetic out there, less Kamikaze, more in control.
When Brunson wants to be a floor general, he's a damned good one. The more we see that part of his game, the better.
Definitely still need work on D, and improve our bottom of the league bench scoring. Hopefully Precious will eventually help in that dept, but I still think the FO needs to make a move before the first trade deadline.

Our D has been bad the whole season. People forget how bad it is because we played a ton of bad and injured teams. We had the best ever offense and so many games can't get seperation because we can't get stops.

What an absolute sh*t show ——-
- horrid decision making an ball handling by entire team
- putrid D by EVERYONE but most specifically Hart, Brunson and Bridges (who specifically let Young go all over)
- Brunson played awful and his D was non existent
- OG and Kat — how many times are you going to get stripped/blocked when going to the basket (holy shit)
- WONDERFUL REBOUNDING
- Harts D has been piss poor all year.
And can someone please tell me why instead of collapsing our D, going under screens and making Trae Young beat us with 3’s that we continue to go over and get completely torched as Trae goes downhill into lobs and floaters?
How many times did we leave a corner shooter wide open to rotate onto a worse shooter on the wing resulting in wide open corner 3?
How many times did we completely leave the lob guy free all game?
Meanwhile Hawks throw 50 lobs and we may have thrown 1.
DISGUSTED and stop whining for fouls - get tough and draw some legit fouls and stop falling down looking for whistle.
SOFT TEAM against good D.

That’s very optimistic position that ignores brutal d, getting obliterated on glass and just piss poor everything

THIS +100 ——— D has been a sieve all year even with good overall metrics.
This team is starting to remind me of probably the most talented Knick team in history with Frazier/Monroe/McMillan/Heywood/McAdoo that went nowhere and couldn’t stop a 2 year old from getting to the rim and just didn’t seem to care.

Was a major momentum shift as we were gonna go up 10 there. Wheels came off after for sure. Thibk Thibs is too conservative on using the challenge - teams have made momentum shifting challenges on us all year

Deuce D has been awful all year — the rookie year Deuce who was a tiger is gone and now he is an undersized back up SG who can’t handle and sometimes gets hot. ITS TRUE
Is Bridges unable to post up smaller players? Does our offense revolve around action with just two or three players on one side of the court?
There are times we look amazing - and then we lay an absolute disgrace like tonight.
We are not winning a championship. Not with this assembled group.
I assume we’ll get past the first round, but after that, I can’t see anything definitive with this group.
I wish Thibs would try different line ups.
It’s getting pretty tedious watching Bridges go for 40+ every night and Hart go for 40 and OG big minutes.
This is going to catch up with us and if OG goes down, this is a 400 level team.

After having ihart last season this makes me sick. How much rebounds was that?
Did we see much Kat with Precious- I can’t remember but with the way the boards were going might have helped.
Sims laid a big turd again and sat down quickly

For me if it’s not the last 2-3 minutes you’d better be 100% sure before losing your challenge—- we’ve seen Thibs trust guys and blow the challenge early as well but I get your point.
Giving up a ton of offensive baords and the inability to guard the pick n roll are the main reasons we lost this game. Also, how many times have we watched teams hunt Brunson on defense and force the Knicks to scramble? Not sure we we weren't hunting Trey and forcing him to guard the ball? We allowed their best defender, Dyson, to be involved in too many defensive plays. That is on Thibs.
