I wonder if he has a brother named Dancin

martin @ 12/27/2024 10:04 PM
Whoa weird but he’ll have one of those OG games where he doesn’t miss soon

Oh shoot just saw this. Sec 106 row 8. Mostly Magic fans and us. They were pretty funny blaming everything on the refs and all hurt and shit

Definitely ruined his double double streak

Again again again. But without Franz, Mo, and Banchero

Going to the game with my son tonight. Was hoping it’d be a competitive game. Orlando only has one guy who can score so it’s looking like a blowout if we show up.

tied at half time - enough competitive game?

Yeah Knicks never really put their foot on the gas. You just kind of knew that they would slowly pull away in the second half like good teams do. It was like they were pacing themselves. Magic fans didn’t even realize the game had slipped away from them. It was beautiful

NYStateOfMind @ 12/27/2024 10:12 PM
I think we are now 40 and 13 when OG plays.

If the Knicks were pacing themselves, they didn’t make their move until Suggs went out with the 5 fouls. They are tough and relentless and had a fantastic approach, especially given how they played the night before.

I know our record is good, but there are teams like Orlando that either has our number or is just a bad match up.

I mean we won by 23, dominated the second half and nobody had a great game. I’d call that a business like win. Knicks are taking care of business and winning the games they should. That’s the hallmark of a good team

NYStateOfMind @ 12/27/2024 10:56 PM
Knicks did TCB. Geesh, the Cavs have 116 to start the 4th vs the Nugz.
Chandler @ 12/27/2024 11:30 PM
I know a lot of people want to give credit to Orlando saying they play tough etc

I don’t agree. Waaaay too much much horse crap too. Their game plan is to muck things up and dare the refs to call 50 fouls. Which the refs legitimately could and they know it

Josh freaking Hart is the man

I know we have arguably one of the best starting lineups, but the bench has been getting healthier and we do have pieces to stop using starters for more than 36mins each game. Maybe it’s already happening because in this game the bench played more minutes, but Thibs really needs to balance his rotation a bit more. Precious, Shamet and Payne make a difference. It’s weird that Sims has simply disappeared because he was holding his own decently, but the bench needs to be given more rope. They need to be part of the full system in case anything happens and one has to take a more important role.

I normally give them credit, but this is true. They seem to reach in every time while defending and many times the game isn’t called the same way on both ends. But we have responded very well to their physicality the last couple of times we’ve faced them.

I was at the game and was wondering the same thing. The only reason I came up with was try to keep his double double streak alive.

Shamet is gonna be a problem! He comes in ready to play and knocks down his shots. He should have got some run earlier in the 2nd half.
