I thought he did a Julius separation when I saw his arm dangling and he signaled to bench to meet him in locker room.

Seems to be a classic tweener and like Obi to an extent light in the pants, not strong with suspect handle.
Can't play big minutes at 3 or 4 but who knows if he may keep progressing.
I want to see McCullar who at least I hope can defend 1-3.

TBH and IMO you could get mesmerized on offense watching Brunson hold the ball so long every possession --- I'd kind of be a bit pissed myself and wonder if Jalen's ball control / shot volume is related to Hart's no agendas comment.
Jalen does have to nail down his next contract.
Honestly, it’s prob cause he is tired. Of being a normal father to a new born.

Interesting -- watching game and it feels like he is killing us in spots but maybe that's because every drive and shot feels like its coming with a travel.
Looked at box score post game and was somewhat stunned by his avg (for him) stat line so I guess good job OG and others.
OG makes a steal, but missed the dunk and someone jumped his shit?
The dude was guarding Giannis. You don't stop him, but make it hard for him.
Knicks won in part OG makes the right passes at times, and guards his man.
What a much needed win. I thought the same thing to myself about the Hart comments. I mean who else could he possibly be talking about? The offense was in shambles for a bit, and ever since the double nickel game Jalen had been going hero mode and it led to Mikal/OG both falling off a cliff, team assists WAY down, team 3s way down, KAT was neutered a little more than he had been. Who knows if all the KAT MVP love was getting to him or not, he is human, but I think there was something there. That's not to say these guys don't all love playing with each other. But the offense was stagnant.
Even last night, Jalen had 20+ in the first and it was basically tied. We made our run and got separation when he sat in the 2nd. That's when the ball started to move and KAT started to feast.
Jalen was heroic last night either way, but I think the offense had to re-find itself and hopefully it did last night. We are probably at our best when KAT is our #1 guy, he plays in the flow, Jalen iso's should not be our primary weapon.
And yes, OG has been way off on offense but he held Giannis in check for the final 3 quarters last night and did a superb job. Both he and Mikal need to get going again though.
We did to them what OKC did to us. We definitely got the Bucks number! 140 points on 58%, 18 threes, 29 assists, 11 turnovers.
Brunson was terrific! Came out aggressive and angry and set the tone with those 23 points in the first quarter. Would've easily had 50, maybe 60 if he didn't get hurt. But 44 points in less then 30 minutes is insane!
KAT was awesome too with 30/18/4 and would have had more if he had Giannis' whistle. Hart with his usual game of 11/11. Payne gave us some great minutes off the bench with 18! So wished we had a guy or he can do this on a consistent basis. We are desperately missing and needing that microwave scorer off the bench.
We kept Lillard and Giannis in check.
Our stars played well but credit to OG for the defense. credit Hart for the defense. And yes, Mikal who also covered Dame.
We double dog dared the other players to step up. They did not.
Middleton got it going and he a tough assignment.
Top heavy teams are flawed. Teams that have the depth are the new thing in this CBA. That OKC is this good and so young is impressive.
Caruso has yet to get it going. And Chet awaits. If he can get back and in shape he presents a problem even if his minutes are not high. Come playoffs when the rotations get tight, who will survive?
If we can have enough support to stay healthy, we will contend.
Yes we miss iHart. Yes we are a different team with KAT>.
Was the first time in 11 games we shot over 40% from 3 and only the 2nd time we shot above our season avearge of 37%. In many of those 10 games we were well below 30% and in 2 of our recent losses under 20%. Team has been in a major shooting slump - and its not just because of OKC defense - they couldn't shoot against the like of Washington and Chicago who play little to no defense.
Reality is we have won A LOT more games this year where we didnt shoot the 3 well vs. last year, where especially after Randle went down, we were highly dependent on 3 pt shooting.
Its a 3 pt shooting league and its the biggest factor that leads to victory. OG has shot 31% from 3 since Dec 1, Bridges has shot 20% from 3 in Jan and Brunson shot 7/44 or 16% from 3 in the prior 10 games. The point I'm making here is that there was a tendency to say we cannot play with OKC based on Fri - and I am just trying to point out that this shooting slump has been far reaching and isn't just attributable to OKC's amazing D. There's fatigue, the ebbs and flows of the seasons, mean reversion and a lot of other things at play. Brunson snaps out of it yesterday, Cam Payne gets hot, the team shoots 43% from and put up a 140 spot, and embarass a team that had gone 18-8 as of late and has one of the 3 best players in the league.
Giannis shoots 59% from the FT line. He leads the league win FT attempt. Is it because "Silver the Empty suit" wants to destroy TV ratings? Is it because corrupt officials want to protect their star? No, I your the opposing coach you tell your players to tire his ass out and burn some fouls. Rather than dunk, work the odds that he'll miss 4 of 10 FT's. Not saying "hack a Giannis", but make him pay.
yes, he will get some bad calls but he also go hacked a few times and no call either!
The "euro step"? That was pretty bad missed call.
Last night we executed very well on defense and hit our threes. The paint opened ups our guys started cutting and it was game over. Bucks had nothing left to stop us.
