I think the crux of the trade is Whitmore. The kind of player the Knicks should be looking for at SF. Not sure how to get him without giving up Robinson for the space. Our package for him is cobbled together. But the stories of him being unhappy in Houston make this plausible?

I think Houston says no. They don't need Sims, White more or the Wiz pick. Cam is on cost controlled contract, so unfortunately... phuck his feelings. I think more is needed to entice the Rockets. Also fit. If he's upset over there, things won't change much here. He'll need to earn Tom's trust.
It’s a good move for the Knicks to target a young talent like Whitmore, but they’ll need to be strategic with the assets they give up.
