They (Jordan & Ewing) faced each other a total of 70 times in NBA games. Michael Jordan has a 49-21 winning record over Patrick Ewing, including a 19-8 record in Playoffs.

7 & 3 - currently Tatum and his Celtics hold the edge over Brunson and the Knicks. It's early, but this year has been looking like a similar discrepancy in roster talent.

April 11th 2024 was our last victory- and I wonder if they were even trying that game given that it nearing the end of the season. I don't remember.

if you go by the picks on the gamepicker - it is complete capitulation- there is only one optimist picking the knicks to win right now, and that may yet change.

Would love this to be a reverse jinx thread- but the Celtics aren't winning because of a jinx. They just have way better talent and a much better system.

I am in the fire thibs camp after reading some of the comments in the last game thread.

I don't know if a different coach would do better. We have a nice squad. I like to think they can do better. I do think some different strategies would help.

But maybe having two turnstile defender like JB & Kat are too much for anything- coach/system to overcome when we are playing against elite teams.

But our struggles (sure, we won) against young, athletic teams is surely worrying.
