We parted the red sea for TJ (waited till Feb 28) only to sign Moses?

Mavs signed him.

Mavs signed him.

For 10 days and then the apron rules mean he is free...

Id still add one of the wings, but Moses is a good option if Mitch debut goes wrong

With Huk having surgery, and Precious our only durable minutes at center, I would sign Moses in a heartbeat.

Hasn't really been a good defensive player at the NBA level. I think I'd rather go Okeke over Moses regardless of how Mitch looks. I must say, that iHuk injury was a real nut kicker. His fluidity on defense was welcome sight. Can't wait for the season to end and for the cap to increase.

Mitch is back. Formidable. You hear that Memphis?

If Mitch can stay healthy, he is going to be KEY for this team going into the stretch. Defense was so different with him in there tonight.

Happy Money Mitch Day

TJ seems to be the guy who has a chance of getting any rotation minutes. We can sign another player at the end of the season but they won’t be playoff eligible. Okeke could slot in there

Wasn’t Duarte a guy we tried to trade up for in the 2021 draft?
GustavBahler @ 3/1/2025 3:15 PM
Mitch came through in his first game back. We missed the intimidation factor. The way Mitch altered shots by just being in the neighborhood.

Mitch back in the rotation will allow Thibs to throw more looks at other teams. I really hope he stays on the bench, for this season anyway. It will shore up the 2nd unit, and who knows, maybe fewer injuries. Thibs can still try a Mitch/KAT frontcourt without starting both of them.

What’s the update on Moses

Yeah, but he hasn't looked decent since his rookie year.

Still serving out his 10 day with Dallas. He becomes an unrestricted free agent when that expires.

Gotta think a healthy McCullar jr has a shot at the roster spot

Brown's 10-day contract with the Mavericks expires in one game. Since Dallas is unwilling to operate above the First Apron, Brown cannot sign another deal, and his departure is expected.

“He was great,” Kidd said of Brown. “Moses gave us a spark, gave us a big (presence) at the rim. We needed someone at the rim, and he did a really good job for us. He’ll probably get another 10-day from someone. And give him credit for coming out as a pro and helping us find a way to win. The next game is his last game, and hopefully, he can play as well as he did tonight.”

The Mavericks and Bucks will tip off on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. CST.

VDesai @ 3/1/2025 7:22 PM
Well I dont think theres any more incentive to wait on signing someone and now it fits under the apron. So not sure why are waiting, unless we are waiting for Brown
