Thibs already loves him ❤️

Thibs feeling frisky now that he saw Kolek worked out.

I’m in no rush for JB to return. Let’s have a few more games like this.

This past draft of near second round picks is going to turn out to be glorious. Hopefully

Nash lite, thin Josh Hart who is not afraid to shoot, Baby PAC, Huk-Tuah.

It’s an entire bench unit.

Switch out TJ for PJ and I am ready to go with this team to the playoffs.

Looked at it a few times and noticed all those shots except 1 was open. The not open shot was so close to the hoop I can't even call it difficult. We have a team full of people who need to be setup and had our 2nd best playmaker on the bench. I am just happy we are making good rotation decisions now even if our hand was forced. Kolek will have bad games but stick with him because he will help more than hurt because this team needs what he gives.

You can always tell when I get my joy back watching the team when I post way too much.

May your words be prophetic.

Recall when we were in the tanking discussion in order to draft stars. Now we have the stars and we can afford to draft second rounders in order to have rotation players. Lots less hopes will die if a lottery pick fails to live up to expectations then having second rounders hopefully over achieve and become Mitch and Deuce level players.

Walt Perrin for the win!

Brunson is obviously an incredible basketball player, but Kolek makes passes that Jalen can only dream about.

There were a lot of exceptionally great stat lines. However, one stat line, and one stat line alone gave Larry Brown a hard-on: Tyler Kolek. Holly shit does he play the right way. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want him to take Deuce’s minutes, but I don’t know maybe he can have some of Mikal’s and the other starters

Kolek will take Cam’s minutes when Payne falters and Brunson minutes when Tyler is rolling. In turn, allowing Deuce to take some of the POA minutes from Mikal, allowing Bridges to focus on the O side of things.

Book it.

Best assist per minute ratio in the NBA: Young 0.32. Kolek last 2 games : 0.46. Yes against bad teams, yes limited minutes and its only 2 games. But this guy proved that he should have been playing 8-10 minutes for a long time now. And if this had happen he would be more than ready now to be the back up point guard. We do not have anybody like him on the team and we do not take advantage of it. Can never understand coach "rules" that rookies don't play and that the rotation should always be 8 or 9 players. A lot of coaches in the league proved that this is nonsense.
